How to Watch Kelly Clarkson on Netflix’s ‘NFL Christmas Gameday’

On Christmas Day, beloved talk show host and original “American Idol” winner, Kelly Clarkson, will welcome fans around the world to “NFL Christmas Gameday.”

The Emmy and Grammy Award-winning superstar will kick off the broadcast with a special performance of “Underneath the Tree,” from her first Christmas album, “Wrapped in Red,” guaranteed to get everyone into the holiday spirit.

Netflix will be hosting the holiday doubleheader for fans this year. As a Texas native, Clarkson will surely be cheering on the Dallas Cowboys in the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Washington Commanders game. The other matchup will feature the Detroit Lions vs. the Minnesota Vikings.


How to Watch Clarkson on the ‘NFL Christmas Gameday’

To watch Clarkson’s performance ahead of the first match, you need to subscribe to Netflix. Once logged into your account, the NFL Christmas games are included in all plans. You can log in or subscribe here on their official site.


What Time is Clarkson’s Performance? 

Clarkson’s presentation will be broadcast minutes before the start of the Cowboys vs. Commanders match. Viewers should tune in early so they won’t miss her opening show.

The Cowboys vs. Commanders kicks off at 1 p.m. ET, from Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, followed by the Lions vs. Vikings at 4:30 p.m. ET, from the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Both games will be preceded by pregame coverage beginning at 11 a.m. ET.

Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg will headline “Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party” during the Lions vs. Vikings game.

Among the newly announced performers are the singing voices behind HUNTR/X from the hit film, “KPop Demon Hunters.” EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami will make a special appearance.

Grammy Award-winning country star Lainey Wilson will also be joining the lineup.

Netflix has teased that additional surprise guests will join Snoop Dogg on Christmas Day, though the details are being kept under wraps until the live broadcast.


Who Will Call the ‘NFL Christmas Gameday’ This Year?

According to Netflix, there will be “stars on the gridiron and in the broadcast booth, including returning on-air talent such as the father-son duo of Ian and Noah Eagle, Netflix Sports Club’s Kay Adams, former NFL stars Drew Brees, Manti Te‘o, and Nate Burleson, among others. New additions to the Christmas Day lineup include Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin, Commanders star running back Austin Ekeler, and WWE superstar Seth Rollins to ring in the holidays with cheer and expert football analysis.”
