Instagram Data Reveals Which ‘Big Brother’ Houseguest Gained The Most Followers on Instagram

Social media acts as the unofficial scoreboard for “Big Brother 27,” as Instagram followings reveal how viewers connect with houseguests outside the televised competition. Between August 24 and September 21, contestants recorded dramatic shifts in follower counts reported by @bigbrotherdatabase. Some gained thousands of new fans, while others struggled to spark online traction. These numbers show which houseguests dominate the digital landscape and who lags behind. The follower growth numbers could indicate who will win America’s Favorite Player (AFP) tonight.

The Top of the Pack: Rachel, Keanu, & Katherine

Rachel Reilly leads the cast with 261,924 Instagram followers as of September 21. She gained 14,457 new followers during the period, marking a 6% increase. While her growth rate remains modest, her overall base reflects her veteran status and loyal fan support. Viewers expressed frustration at her controversial elimination, which further boosted engagement.

Keanu demonstrated the strongest momentum in raw growth. His account rose to 145,593 followers, a 30% increase, with 30,638 new followers added. His gameplay visibility and emotional storylines translated into rapid fan support online.

Katherine nearly tripled her base in less than a month. Her profile climbed to 23,903 followers, showing 191% growthand 11,986 new followers gained. Without a pre-existing fanbase, she still emerged as one of the season’s breakout figures, proving her ability to capture attention quickly.

Highest Growth Percentages: Vince, Lauren & Mickey

Several other houseguests posted notable gains. Vince experienced the highest percentage increase in the cast, surging 338% to 17,911 followers after adding 10,391. Mickey followed with 275% growth, reaching 14,068 followers after gaining 9,041.

Lauren also expanded her presence, climbing to 34,025 followers with 74% growth and 10,740 new followers. These results highlight how mid-tier contestants capitalized on storylines to capture fan engagement and build their social reach.

The Bottom Tier: Zae, Amy, & Ava

Not every contestant found success online. Zae ranked at the bottom in growth, adding only 872 new followers for a 9% increase, leaving his total at 14,605. Amy also struggled, gaining just 743 followers for a 23% growth rate, which brought her total to 7,533. Ava presented a different case. She maintained a sizable base of 103,712 followers, but her growth slowed to just 5%, with 4,385 new followers gained. Her plateau shows how a strong initial platform does not guarantee momentum during the season.

Instagram follower trends for “Big Brother 27” demonstrate how social engagement parallels gameplay visibility. Rachel maintains the largest base, Keanu achieved the most dramatic surge, and Katherine rose as the clearest breakout star. Vince, Mickey, and Lauren established themselves as rising contenders on social media, while Zae, Amy, and Ava fell behind in growth.

These results confirm that digital influence has become a second competition, shaping how viewers connect with houseguests long after the cameras stop rolling.
