Where Does Jennifer Aniston Live? She Bought One Home from Oprah & Another Was Her Wedding Venue

While Jennifer Aniston helps her boyfriend, Jim Curtis, look at potential homes after he put his New York City apartment up for sale, now’s the perfect time to check out the impressive property portfolio of the former “Friends” star.

“Over the past 20 years, Aniston has bought, sold, renovated, and curated a handful of homes that are as stylish as her red-carpet looks,” according to Robb Report. “There’s the Montecito farmhouse she snagged from Oprah Winfrey, Beverly Hills homes (some shared with exes Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux), plus a couple of New York City condos she’s since parted ways with.” That’s not to mention the home where she married one of her exes.

West Hollywood Home Once Rented to Other Stars

In 1995, around one year after finding fame on “Friends,” Aniston started to dabble in real estate when she picked up a home in West Hollywood for $742,500. Spanning 2,903 square feet, the residence includes two bedrooms and three bathrooms.

According to Robb Report, since moving on, Aniston has used the abode as “her longtime office space—and, at one point, a star-studded rental.” Former celebrity couple Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen “once leased the home in the mid-2000s.”

Montecito Farmhouse Bought from Oprah

Plenty of stars own homes in Montecito and that includes Aniston. In 2022, the actress bought a property in the area for $14.8 million. The seller? Oprah Winfrey.

A “lavish Mediterranean-style farmhouse,” according to Realtor.com, “[w]hen Aniston purchased the home, it offered four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.”

Robb Report also explains that “[t]he Tuscan-inspired farmhouse, built in 1998, spans 4,320 square feet with … multiple terraces, and a gated driveway flanked by oak trees.” Beyond that, the home is “[n]estled on just over an acre, the home offers landscaped gardens, panoramic ocean and mountain views, and a large motorcourt.”

Staying true to her renovating nature, Aniston remodeled the home to her personal preferences. Realtor.com reported that she “quickly got to work on a dramatic renovation,” which was “finally nearing completion—nearly two years after she purchased the sprawling … estate.”

Bel-Air Main Residence & Justin Theroux Wedding Venue

Purchased in 2012 for slightly under $21 million, Robb Report notes that Aniston’s “main residence is a midcentury masterpiece by architect A. Quincy Jones, tucked behind high gates on a 3.27-acre estate in Bel-Air.” Unsurprisingly, she “later renovated it with designer Stephen Shadley, preserving its modernist pedigree while adding personality with silk rugs and hand-painted wallpaper.”

Offering the owner 8,500 square feet, the property includes gardens, a pool and a guesthouse.

The home was also where Aniston held her wedding with Theroux in 2015. Robb Report points out that while the couple ended their relationship in 2018, “Aniston retained the house, which remains her primary residence.”

Granted, she did make some serious changes to the home.

Aniston ended up buying the property next door to her Bel-Air home in 2025. She paid $7.25 million for the five-bedroom residence. Robb Report explains that the “home is currently undergoing extensive renovations. Building plans suggest she’s transforming it into a guesthouse or annex to create a larger, more private compound—a move that comes after a security breach in May (2025), when an intruder rammed through the gates of her main residence.”
