Model and “Dancing With the Stars” alum Brooks Nader is opening up about being single for the first time in her adult life. “I’ve never gotten to do this my whole life, so I love it,” she shared with Us Weekly.
Nader, 28, began dating her ex-husband Billy Haire in 2015 when she was just 18 years old, and the former couple divorced in 2024. The reality star went on to have a tumultuous relationship with her “DWTS” partner Gleb Savchenko but they parted ways in April amid cheating rumors.
At the launch of her impressive 7th Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in May, Nader told People, “I feel like all my exes hate me.” But she’s moving on and is happy living the single life.
Nader Knows What She Wants in a Partner
GettyThe model summed up her new single life simply, telling Us Weekly she’s “loving it.” But she knows what to look for when she’s ready to begin dating again.
“I’m looking for someone that’s really funny and entertaining, not boring,” she explained. “That’s my numero uno — and just someone that gets along with my family, loves life, loves to travel and have fun, and is hard working and not lazy.”
And despite her difficult experience with Savchenko, Nader hasn’t ruled out the possibility of getting involved with another co-worker. But she’s thinking more in terms of dating a fellow model. “I think I would,” Nader shared. “I would date a coworker, but I wouldn’t date a dancer again.”
But that doesn’t mean she’s looking to jump into another relationship any time soon. Following her split from Savchenko Nader told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m not looking for anything particular, I’m just rocking with work.”
Nader’s Sisters Give Her Relationship Advice
Nader and her three younger sisters Mary Holland, 26, Grace Ann, 25, and Sarah Jane, 23, are ready to open up their lives to the world, as their new reality show “Love Thy Nader” premieres on Freeform August 26.
Viewers will get to see the sisters navigate life while rooming together in New York City. And according to Nader, her sisters do have opinions on her love life.
“I listen to it,” she said, adding, “We’re, like, codependent.” While it seems Nader is open to her sisters’ advice, she admits their dynamic can get a bit tricky.
“I love my sisters, but I feel like I’ve become their adopted mother,” she revealed. “And I need children of my own, so y’all are going to have to find someone!”
