Fans tuned in for TikTok Night on “Dancing With the Stars” season 34, expecting high-energy routines and viral-worthy fun. Instead, they were left stunned when Brandon Armstrong and partner Lauren Jauregui were eliminated. The shocking exit not only quieted the ballroom but also sparked an emotional reaction from Armstrong’s wife, Brylee, who shared her candid thoughts with fans right after the show.
Shocking Elimination on ‘Dancing With the Stars’
Shortly after the results were announced on “DWTS” 2025, Brylee shared a “get unready with me” video on her TikTok page alongside her husband.
She starts the clip saying, “So that sucked.” She then turns to Brandon, 31, who adds, “You won’t see me begging for votes no more.”
While Brylee does admit that the elimination was “a little bit shocking,” she does state the competition is stronger than ever on “Dancing With the Stars” season 34. She states, “There has truly not ever been a season like this where every single celebrity is good and popular.”
While fans were in an uproar over Lauren’s elimination, Brylee warned fans that more of that is yet to come. She said, “I think that this season there will be many shocking eliminations.”
Working From Home
For their week 3 performance on “Dancing With the Stars” season 34, Brandon and the Fifth Harmony singer performed a Cha Cha to “Work From Home,” one of the girl group’s hit songs. They even incorporated some of the choreography from the original music video into their dance.
I thought they did a very good job with it. I think Lauren was more confident and comfortable in the routine, especially with it being her own song. She knows the music and has performed to it many times, so it seemed to shine through for her.
While the ballroom seemed to be on their feet also, the “Dancing With the Stars” judges gave her an 18 out of 30 points. They wanted Lauren to be sharper with her movements.
In her video, Brylee said the Cha Cha is a “very hard” style to nail, adding, “Do I think that there was room for improvement? Yes, I think that there is room for improvement for every single person on the show.”
While Brylee joked that Brandon would now be working from home, she did go on to say that he is “still on the payroll,” and he’ll be like a troupe member, dancing in the background of other people’s dances. She said they will also be fully supporting all of their friends who are still in the competition.
Nothing But Love For Lauren
Brylee went on to say that she is sad her husband is no longer in the running for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, but she’s “most disappointed” for Lauren.
“This was an opportunity to do something for herself apart from Fifth Harmony and to really come into her own, and for it to get cut short is just really disappointing,” she continued. “She’s like family to us now, we absolutely love her.”
“Dancing With the Stars” season 34 airs on ABC and Disney+ on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET, with new episodes available to stream the next day on Hulu.
