Corey Feldman Pays Tribute to Corey Haim 16 Years After His Passing

Actor and musician Corey Feldman has paid tribute to his friend, fellow screen star Corey Haim, on the 16th anniversary of his tragic passing.

Haim, 38 at the time of his death, lost his life on March 10, 2010, with the causes listed as diffuse alveolar damage and pneumonia, together with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and coronary arteriosclerosis (per The New York Post).

Per IMDb, Feldman and Haim appeared in several movies together. They included 1987’s “The Lost Boys,” 1988’s “License to Drive,” 1989’s “Dream a Little Dream,” 1993’s “Blown Away,” 1994’s “National Lampoon’s Last Resort,” 1995’s “Dream a Little Dream 2,” and 1997’s “Busted.” It allowed them to develop strong personal and professional relationships.

Former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Feldman took to his Instagram account to remember his friend.

Corey Feldman Remembers ‘Brightest’ and ‘Most Talented’ Corey Haim

Corey Feldman’s post comprised a photograph of Corey Haim, which Haim had signed for him before his passing. Haim’s heartfelt writing on the image reads, “To Corey, thanx 4 being a part of my life!!! I love ya! Brothers till the end!!! Your bro Corey Haim.”

Feldman captioned the post with an extensive and passionate passage about Haim, which touches on Feldman’s recollection of the two stars being abused when they were younger.

It reads, “COREY IAN HAIM, WAS 1 OF THE BRIGHTEST MOST TALENTED ACTIRS HOLLYWOOD WAS LUCKY ENOUGH 2 FEATURE! HIS FILMS EARNED OVER 250 MILLION $ COLLECTIVELY & WHEN HE PASSED HE WAS LEFT OFF THE IN MEMORIAM SEGMENT OF BOTH THE OSCARS & THE SAG AWARDS! NOT BECAUSE HE WAS CRAZY! NOT CUZ HE WAS DISGRACED! It continues, “I WILL NEVER 4GET!! I #LOVE THIS MAN 4 EVER! Feldman’s determination to get his and Haim’s story out there is inspiring. For his sake, for the sake of Haim’s memory, and for the sake of survivors of abuse everywhere, we hope the situation reaches a resolution that satisfies him one day soon.

His followers rallied to support him in the post’s comment section, which was lovely see. One commented, “You two are both a part of my childhood!! Justice for Corey!! Gone waaaaaaay to soon. ❤️❤️❤️”

Feldman Also Posted About His Self-Financed Film

A few hours before Corey Feldman’s tribute to Corey Haim, he also posted an image of a poster for a self-financed film he attempted to realise six years ago, on the tenth anniversary of Haim’s passing.

The film was titled “Truth.” Its aim was to expose the truth about the alleged abuse he and Haim were subjected to.

Feldman’s post was captioned, “6 YRS AGO 2DAY I KEPT MY PROMISE 2 MY BEST FRIEND! I SELF FINANCED A FILM THAT EXPOSED 6 NAMES OF MEN WHO MOLESTED MYSELF & MY BEST FRIEND! I NAMED THE NAMES! THE STREAM WAS HACKED, FILM STOLEN, VOICE SILENCED, & I HAV BEEN BRUTALIZED PUBLICLY & IGNORED BY ANY 1 WHO COULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE! THE THEFT OF MY FILM WAS NEVER REPORTED ON, THE CRIMES WE EXPOSED WERE NEVER INVESTIGATED, & U CANT EVEN WATCH IT, CUZ IT HAS NO LEGAL DISTRIBUTION ANYMORE! BUT JUST 2 REMIND THE SKEPTICS….IT REALLY HAPPENED IN 2020: #TRUTH #NEVERGIVEUP #RIPCOREYHAIM16YEARS #Kids2 #SURVIVORSMATTER.”

Again, Feldman’s followers showed their support in the comments section, as one said, “Thank you for speaking out about all of this. I alwayd [sic] believed you.”

Another follower commented, “Sending you the biggest hug! 🫂”

Finally, one user wrote, “Corey, I’ve always loved how you stood up for yourself and those victims who don’t have a voice. You’re so appreciated and loved. Please don’t ever change. Sending you so much love, and healing light. You deserve the best always. We love you.”

Hopefully, Corey Feldman is doing okay and coping with the continued grief the loss of his friend has caused him. Additionally, we commend his longstanding bravery in speaking out about his past.

May Corey Haim rest in eternal peace.
