Fans finally have the announcement they have been waiting for: the full list of “Dancing with the Stars” competitors has been revealed. There are some incredible choices this year, and among them is ‘90s icon Danielle Fishel.
Danielle Fishel Joins DWTS Season 34
Fishel is joining “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34, and while a lot of the cast was predicted, this is one star whose inclusion was a better-kept secret. She is loved for her role as Topanga Lawrence on the sitcom “Boy Meets World,” and now, fans will get to know her even better decades later.
Fishel will be paired with Pasha Pashkov, and the pairing is going to be one to watch!
After the celebrity cast announcement was made on Wednesday, September 3, on “Good Morning America,” the official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account shared a video of all of the competitors. In the clip, Fishel looks stunning as she shows off her moves (briefly) while wearing bright pink.
“The new cast of #DWTS has all the right moves. Join in for the season premiere, live Tuesday, September 16 at 8/7c on @ABC and @DisneyPlus! Next day on @Hulu,” the caption reads.
Fans have reacted to the post with great excitement. “@daniellefishel has my 10 votes per every method every week omg,” a comment reads. “@daniellefishel was the best surprise,” another shared. Other reactions include, “I have so many favorite this season,” “I’m really happy,” and “I’m so ready.”
Danielle Fishel Breaks Her Silence on “Dancing with the Stars”
After the official statement was made, Fishel was able to finally speak about the secret of the DWTS Season 34 casting. She broke her silence when she posted a photo of herself and Pasha Pashkov on Instagram on September 3. They look so great together!
“The secret’s out! We’re officially partners on this season of ‘Dancing With the Stars,'” she wrote in the caption. “From the time we found out to now, we’ve been having just the absolute best time together Cannot wait to see what this journey has in store for us and to share it with you all! Eeeeeek.”
She also asked fans for their help in naming their team. Suggestions include Team TOPASHA! and Team Girl Meets Ballroom!
Pashkov has also broken his silence on the new season and shared a short video clip posted on Instagram on September 3. It shows him and Fishel sitting on a sofa with a giant “DWTS” sign behind them. “There is no going back now,” he wrote, and tagged his dance partner.
“Dancing with the Stars” will premiere on September 16 on ABC and Disney+.
