VIDEO: Danielle Fishel & Pasha Pashkov’s Week 5 Performance on DWTS

Danielle Fishel’s Boy Meets World family showed up in full force to cheer her on during Week 5 of “Dancing With the Stars“. On Tuesday, October 14, the actress, 44, took the ballroom floor with her professional partner, Pasha Pashkov, for Dedication Night. Fishel dedicated her performance to her longtime mentor and on-screen teacher, William Daniels, known to millions as Mr. Feeny.

The touching tribute turned into a heartfelt celebration of love, gratitude, and the legacy they built together.

A Tribute to Mr. Feeny: Watch The Performance Here

Fishel and Pashkov danced the jive to the Boy Meets World theme song by Twenty Cent Crush featuring Phil Rosenthal. Joining them in the studio were eight of her “fabulous” former costars, including Matthew Lawrence (Jack Hunter), Trina McGee (Angela Moore), Alex Désert (Mr. Williams), Betsy Randle (Amy Matthews), William Russ (Alan Matthews), Bonnie Bartlett (Dean Bolander), and, of course, Daniels himself.

“I feel such an overwhelming responsibility to give a full-out, joyous, celebratory dance to the man who is responsible for thousands of people becoming teachers and who has helped raise multiple generations,” Fishel wrote on Instagram.

She continued, “This dance is a dedication from me to Bill, but I am representing ALL OF YOU who loved and appreciated him and his career for so many decades.”

Fishel and Pashkov scored 29 out of 40 for their nostalgic jive. Pashkov had hoped the routine would earn their first eight, and while the judges offered plenty of praise, they also shared thoughtful feedback. Kym Johnson called Fishel’s dancing “very effortless,” advising her to refine her hand placement. Bruno Tonioli praised the performance as “a wonderful number” and said she’s “a great performer,” though he suggested sharper execution.

Carrie Ann Inaba described it as “so nostalgic” and “what we all needed,” but her comment about repetitive choreography drew a few playful boos from the audience. Derek Hough rounded out the panel, calling the jive “lively, light, and lovable.”

Danielle Fishel Opens Up About the Dedication

Fishel first revealed her plans for Dedication Night on the Oct. 8 episode of her Danielle With the Stars podcast. “None other than Mr. Bill Daniels will be joining me in the ballroom for the show,” she said.

“Mr. Feeny himself is going to be on the ballroom floor with me,” Fishel shared of the 98-year-old actor, as per People. “We’re going to dance a jive, and Bill is going to be on the ballroom floor with us, and he’s going to participate in the dance as well.”

The Boy Meets World alum called the moment “a second act” in her performing career, describing the chance to honor Daniels as deeply meaningful. “It’s really a dedication to Bill and the role he has played in my life and the role Boy Meets World has played in my life,” she explained.

Fishel’s dance quickly became one of the most emotional moments of the evening, with audience members and viewers sharing heartfelt reactions online.

As for why she chose Daniels as her inspiration, Fishel said, “He’s such an inspiration to so many of us. To be able to say thank you to him and give him this kind of a platform for him to receive the love that he deserves is going to be very memorable.”

For longtime fans of Boy Meets World, the moment was a beautiful reunion and a reminder that some teachers leave lessons that last a lifetime.
