“Dancing With the Stars” pro Britt Stewart tied the knot with actor Daniel Durant on August 23, but the pair has yet to go on their honeymoon. Stewart is back in the ballroom for season 32 of “DWTS,” but she and Durant plan to celebrate with a vacation soon.
“We have plans to take a honeymoon over the holidays, and we’re just so excited to then celebrate our wedding and marriage,” Stewart told Us Weekly. She also explained that her new husband is completely understanding when it comes to her professional obligations.
“Daniel has been in this position. He was like, ‘Babe, you’re now my wife, go on to the ballroom,'” the dancer shared. Durant and Stewart met and fell in love while competing as a pair on “DWTS” season 31 in 2022, so naturally he understands what the job entails.

Stewart and Durant’s wedding ceremony in Santa Margarita, California was special and included many members of the “DWTS” family.
Dancers Jenna Johnson, Rylee Arnold, Ezra Sosa, Emma Slater, Alan Bersten, Daniella Karagach, Brandon Armstrong, and Witney Carson were all in attendance, as were co-hosts Julianne hough and Alfonso Ribeiro. Judge Derek Hough was there as well and his wife Hayley Erbert served as maid of honor.
“It was exactly what it was meant to be, which was what we had manifested and what we really wanted the feeling to be over all the other material things,” Stewart said of her nuptials. “We wanted the feeling of connectivity between us, between our family, our close friends, nature, everything.”
She and Durant are thinking about their future together as well, beyond their honeymoon plans. “The next chapter for us is all about growth and building,” Stewart told People. “That means everything… a family, a home, etc. We also want this next chapter to allow us to enjoy each other too. Have fun, life is short!”
Durant Is Super Excited for Stewart’s Upcoming ‘DWTS’ Season
According to Stewart, Durant is very excited for season 34 of “DWTS,” and not just because he’s a supportive husband. Stewart has been paired with NBA star Baron Davis, and Durant is a huge fan.
“When I told him I was paired with Baron, he lost his mind,” Stewart revealed to Us Weekly. “He is such a sports fan, and he cannot wait to meet [him]. He is ecstatic.”
The dancer continued, “My husband is an actor. He’s been to the Oscars. He is not easily [starstruck].”
