Hailey Bills is over the moon about joining the professional dancers on “Dancing With the Stars.“
She was a junior pro on “DWTS: Juniors” and went on to join the troupe in DWTS season 34. But this year, all her dreams come true. After a summer of touring with the pros, Hailey Bills has officially become one of them.
After the cast reveal on “Good Morning America” this morning, Hailey revealed she is competing with “Love Thy Nader” star, Sarah Jane Nader. The women are having a blast together and can’t wait to show off their first routine.
But more than anything, Hailey is exciting to compete against her hero, her aunt, Jenna Johnson.
Hailey Bills Follows in Her Aunt Jenna Johnson’s Footsteps
Dance runs in the family. Hailey Bills is excited to join her aunt and uncle, Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy, on “Dancing With the Stars” this fall.
“Second season… but first one as a PRO 🥹 Man oh man, life has a way – a dream has become reality. HERE. WE. GOOOOO!!!! ⭐️” the 20-year-old shared on Instagram.
Hailey attached her professional dance shot, as well as a sentimental photo. The second image reveals an essay she wrote when she was a child.
“And the winner is… Hailey Bills! Soon, my eyes finally open from the most amazing dream I had just received. As you can see I want and look forward to being on ‘Dancing With the Stars!’ Yes, yes, yes! Well, unfortunately some people think that ‘Dancing With the Stars’ is just an old, dumb TV show… Well not for me, and I’ll tell you why!” the young dancer once wrote.
In the essay, Hailey explained that her aunt, Jenna Johnson, is a pro dancer on the show.
“I want to be just like her when I grow up!” the new pro wrote. She went on to add that she loves choreographing and performing new routines. On top of that, dance has led her to make new friends, whom she loves spending time with.
“Actually SOBBING!!!!!!!!! So proud of you 🥹😭🌟” Jenna Johnson proudly replied in the comments.
“GO HAILEY!!!!!! @hailey.bills this is amazing!” reigning champion Robert Irwin added.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 35 Kicks Off Soon
Now that the official cast list is out, “Dancing With the Stars” fans can’t wait to see what this year’s competitors bring to the season premiere.
Hailey Bills and Sarah Jane Nader are the second same-sex couple on the show. Jenna Johnson and JoJo Siwa were the first in DWTS season 30.
Since the official cast announcement came out this morning, Sarah Jane and Hailey have posted social media photos and clips showing off their newfound friendship. Without a doubt, viewers are in for a treat this season.
