Robert Irwin and Witney Carson Share Big DWTS News
Witney Carson shared news of the couple’s renewed partnership via Instagram.
She wrote, “To say we’re excited is an understatement! Honored to be a part of the DWTS Tour for a short time on the road! See you soon!”
Carson posted a video clip of their pair’s rehearsals. “First day,” she declared alongside Irwin, as they met up in a dance studio to go over the routines they would perform while on tour with the show’s pros.
The friends were assisted by other dancers, who showed them the dance steps their fellow stars have performed each night for the past several months. Carson said in the clip she was “so excited” to head out on tour.
Fans shared their thoughts about Carson’s post. Many are anxiously awaiting the duo’s eight tour stops to reach their hometowns in Las Vegas, San Diego, and Phoenix.
“AZ shows so soon!! So excited,” wrote one attendee. “The siblings are back together!!” exclaimed a second Instagram user.

Robert Irwin and Witney Carson’s Enduring Friendship
In January, shortly after their partnership earned them a DWTS mirrorball trophy, Robert Irwin invited Witney Carson and her family to visit him at the Australia Zoo.
Carson, her husband Carson McAllister and sons Leo and Jet, traveled down under to visit Irwin at his home down under. It was the first time the family had traveled to the country and they had a blast. Carson documented their adventures via Instagram.
In one of her posts, she shared a slideshow of images including the McCallister family and Irwin posing with lemurs. In one video, she fed the animals while a water dragon sat her feet.
Another snapshot showed Irwin feeding a carrot to a nearby giraffe, while Leo looked on in wonder.
DWTS is currently on hiatus. The series typically begins its new season in the fall.
