Will Zac Efron Be Supporting His Brother Dylan Efron on Dedication Night?

Dylan Efron is doing a great job on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34!

Week 5 has been an exciting and emotional time for him as he dedicates a beautiful dance routine to his little sister, Olivia. Efron and his professional partner, Daniella Karagach, are performing a Contemporary to “Rewrite the Stars” from “The Greatest Showman.” The song is performed by his brother Zac Efron and co-star Zendaya.

Will Zac Efron Be in the Ballroom?

Ahead of Show Day on Tuesday, October 14, fans are wondering if Zac will be in the audience supporting his brother. The brothers are close and have highlighted their bond with posts on Instagram before.

In an interview with People on September 3. Dylan revealed that his mom always wanted Zac to be on the ABC dance competition. However, it was he who got to compete, and he was happy to have his mama’s support.  “I’m really excited for my mom to be there,” he told People about his mom. “But also, my dad and my little brother and little sister. It’s gonna make me tear up to see them in the stands.”

There was no mention of Zac being there, but that doesn’t mean that he absolutely won’t make an appearance. However, it’s also important to remember that it’s Dylan’s night, and having a famous brother in the audience could take attention away from his performance. It is his time to shine, and he undoubtedly will, but he has lived in his brother’s shadow.

Dylan Efron Praises His Brother Zac Efron

In an interview on the “Therapuss” podcast in September, Dylan said, “My whole life, Zac’s been famous, and I never wanted to mess up his career and stuff like that.”

He continued, “So I think that’s something that I’ve been hyper-aware of how I present myself and stuff like that from a young age.” He also discussed Zac starring in “High School Musical” in 2005 and how he was in high school when his brother became a big star. Reflecting on this time, Dylan said, “I always looked up to him. So then, when everyone else started looking up to him, [it] was like, of course, my big brother. That’s kinda how it always felt. I was never surprised that he became what he is.”

If Zac is in the audience, it will be an incredible moment, but if he isn’t, he’s likely supporting his brother from a distance.
