Fans Dive Into Dylan Efron’s Performance & Scores on DWTS’ Disney Night

“Dancing With the Stars” season 34 returned on Oct. 6 for one of its most magical episodes yet — Disney Night! A fan-favorite theme, viewers watched as the 11 remaining couples danced to songs from some of Disney’s most beloved films.

For Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach, Disney Night saw the couple hitting the dancefloor with the quickstep to “Life is a Highway” from the 2006 Disney/Pixar movie “Cars.” Fans have been loving Efron and Karagach’s chemistry, noting that he continues to improve week after week.

But how did viewers respond to Efron and Karagach’s Disney Night routine, and what did the couple score?

Fans React to Dylan Efron & Daniella Karagach’s Quickstep on DWTS’ Disney Night

Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach were up first for Disney Night, where they performed a quickstep to “Life is a Highway” from the movie “Cars.” It was the perfect movie choice for the thrill seeker. After having a great week during TikTok night, Efron admitted that it made him even more “motivated” to give it his all during Disney Night.

Dressed in country attire, Dylan and Karagach were in sync during their quickstep, and it was an impressive first number. Judge Derek Hough called Efron the “quickstep King” after their performance, adding that the only thing he’d want to see an improvement on was Efron giving “sharper” movements with his head.

Bruno Tonioli enthusiastically shared, “Hitting the highway to the finals,” which was a very daring statement! As for Carrie Ann Inaba, she called the dance “very impressive” and loved watching how much Efron had “developed.”

So, how did fans feel about Efron’s performance?

A user on X wrote, “I’m impressed with their dance and they totally earned that score!!”

Another user on X agreed with Tonioli about seeing Efron in the finals, “Dylan just keeps on improving and improving each week. I think he’s a lock for the final by now, unless we get another shock elimination à la Lauren.”

However, there are still some viewers who believe that Efron is “not very good” on the dancefloor. One X user even compared him to season 33’s Danny Amendola.

“I said one lol say it again. Dylan Efron is the Danny Amendola of this season. He’s not very good but they’re going to pretend he is…”

Efron & Karagach’s Scores From Disney Night

Last week, the duo earned 23 out of 30 points from the judges for their Foxtrot to Justin Bieber’s “YUKON” during TikTok night. This week, Efron and Karagach received the same score.

Carrie Ann Inaba – 7

Derek Hough – 8

Bruno Tonioli – 8

For a total of 23 out of 30.

Although the couple earned the same score as they did during TikTok night, they are still certainly improving week after week. During premiere week, Efron and Karagach earned a 10 out of 20 for their Cha Cha to “Milshake.” For week 2, they performed the Samba to “Macarena (Bayside Boys Remix)” for One Hit Wonders Night and earned a 22 out of 30.

For week 3, which was TikTok Night, the couple earned a 23 out of 30.

Did Efron Hint That His Brother Zac Efron Will Appear on Dedication Night?

DANCING WITH THE STARS – “One-Hit Wonders Night”

While Efron and Karagach were being interviewed by host Julianne Hough as they awaited their scores, Hough playfully teased Efron that fans had expected his Disney dance number to be set to a “High School Musical” song, a nod to his brother, Zac Efron, who famously starred as Troy in the film.

But Efron may have accidentally let it slip that if he makes it through to next week, which just so happens to be Dedication Night, he has “something special” for viewers. Does that mean fans will see Zac next week?

With Hilaria Baldwin and Gleb Savchenko going home this week, that means Efron and Karagach are safe! So, will fans be seeing a very special guest (ahem, Zac) on Dedication Night on Oct. 14?
