Emma Slater is “so proud” of her boyfriend Alan Bersten and his “Dancing with the Stars” partner, Elaine Hendrix.
After the DWTS couple made it to the Season 34 finals, Slater posted a video to TikTok and Instagram that showed her congratulating her man on the ballroom floor. In a series of photos and videos posted to her page on Nov. 18, Slater hugged and kissed Bersten. She also posed with Hendrix, 54, who is best known for her role in the 1998 comedy film “The Parent Trap.”
“My boyfriend is a finalist. Again. What a champ!!!!! I’m so proud of you @Alan and I’m SO PROUD OF YOU @elaine4animals. I have a kiss for you also btw 😂😂😂😂,” Slater captioned the post.
The sweet tribute came one week after Slater and her partner Andy Richter were voted off the ABC celebrity ballroom competition. In addition to Bersten and Hendrix, the remaining DWTS couples include Daniella Karagach and Dylan Efron, Ezra Sosa and Jordan Chiles, Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Witney Carson and Robert Irwin.
Fans—And Sasha Farber—Reacted to Emma’s Sweet Post
Slater’s post received plenty of reaction from fans and friends.
“This man deserves the world!! 🥹🥹 I love you guys!!” Hendrix wrote to Slater in the comment section on Instagram.
“You win for most supportive girlfriend this season and also soooo happy for Alan and Elaine! She’s been underscored all season and so deserves a spot in the finale! ❤️🎉.” another fan added.
“I’m so proud of him and Elaine. They deserve it,” another agreed.
“The way I sobbed cause I knew Emma was sobbing,” another chimed in.
“ABSOLUTELY SOBBING!!!! I’m so proud of him and Elaine!!! Thank you for your love too Emma!!🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼,” added another fan.
Bersten also responded to his girlfriend’s post. “Love you baby 😍😍😍,” he wrote.
Slater’s ex-husband and fellow DWT pro dancer Sasha Farbner commented with, “Congrats guys.”
“Thanks sash 🙌🏻,” Slater responded.
Several other fans commented on Farber’s “classy’ and “respectful” comment about his ex and her boyfriend.
Sasha Farber Feels No Awkwardness Around Emma & Alan
Farber and Slater wed in 2018 after he proposed to her during a live “Dancing With the Stars” episode. But in 2023, they had an amicable divorce.
While fans long speculated that Slater was later involved with Bersten, the two finally hard launched their romance in April 2025, when they kissed during a dance at the DWTS Live tour.
Farber, who has worked with both Slater and Bersten on DWTS, has said he is totally comfortable being around them as a couple.
“Definitely not awkward,” Farber told fans during a TikTok Live in October. “I’m really happy for her and Alan, and I wish them nothing but the best.”
“Things don’t always work out in life,” he explained. “There’s no point to ever have any hate toward anyone because, what’s the point? So you thank each other for your incredible time you had together—because the time that we did have was amazing—and you move on, and you wish the other person nothing but the best.”
