Professional Latin and ballroom dancer, and star of “Dancing with the Stars,” Ezra Sosa, has revealed to his followers that he’s upset with his performance on the opening night of the “Dancing with the Stars Live!” tour.
Taking to his TikTok, where he has over 885,000 followers, Sosa uploaded an 11-second video expressing his disappointment at how the first show went.
Sosa, who finished in third place on season 34 of “Dancing with the Stars” alongside his partner, Olympic artistic gymnast Jordan Chiles, looked completely forlorn in the video.
Ezra Sosa Heartbreakingly Promised to ‘Be Better’ for His Fans
In the video, over which Sienna Spiro’s “Die On This Hill” can be heard playing, Ezra Sosa can be seen looking close to tears, placing his hand over his face, and talking to himself in a way that looks like he’s giving himself a dressing down.
Text on the screen reads, “having a breakdown during intermission because i kept messing up our first show on tour…”
The video also has a caption, which says, “im genuinely so upset with myself, ill be better for you guys ❤️🩹.”
It wasn’t a nice thing to see, and Sosa’s followers were quick to console him in the comments, with assurances that his performance was absolutely fine.
One follower wrote, “Ezraaaa you are the reason a whole new generation of people are even watching this show. You are so talented and funny as hell babe. You’ve got it all💜.”
Another follower said, “if it makes you feel any better, i did not notice 💗.”
Someone else commented, “if it makes you feel any better, i did not notice 💗.”
Finally, another comment read, “Don’t sweat it Ezra we’re so excited to see you!!”
In a world in which internet commenters can be hypercritical, it was lovely to see Sosa’s followers being so supportive.
Sosa Had Previously Expressed His Excitement for the Tour
Something that makes Ezra Sosa’s disappointment at his opening night performance all the more upsetting is that, just one night earlier, he had expressed his excitement at the tour starting.
Sosa took to his Instagram account, where he has over 440,000 followers, to post a reel of 13 images and videos showcasing his experience in preparing for the “Dancing with the Stars” live tour.
He captioned the post, “you guys…TOUR STARTS TOMORROW HOLY CRAP!”
The caption continued, “I have to say the process to get this show on its feet has been one of the best creative experiences I’ve had. We all have been working so hard on this show and it’s safe to say that we’re all incredibly proud of it. And most importantly for you guys to see it too. Here goes nothing!!!!! Hope you guys enjoy!”
There’s no doubt Ezra Sosa’s fans, and indeed everyone in attendance on the tour’s opening night, are fully behind him — with many people watching not evening noticing his supposed errors.
We’d like to send our support to Sosa — and we’re sure he’ll be fine from this point onwards. He’s set to be joined by his partner Jordan Chiles later in the tour. She’ll be appearing as a special guest star from April 21-30.
