‘Brady Bunch’ Star Recreates Iconic Opening With Husband in Sweet Video

More than five decades after “The Brady Bunch” first aired, Maureen McCormick is revisiting one of television’s most recognizable openings — this time with a personal twist.

The former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant, now 69, teamed up with her husband, Michael Cummings, to recreate the show’s iconic split-screen intro for a new fashion campaign with J. Press and Alex Mill.

All About the Video

The result is a lighthearted, nostalgic video that blends classic TV charm with modern style.

In the clip, McCormick appears in a red-and-white long-sleeved polo paired with jeans, smiling and waving from her own square — a direct nod to the beloved show’s opening sequence.

As the familiar theme song plays, she looks down to see Cummings in the box below her, dressed in a coordinating outfit complete with a denim baseball cap.

The couple’s playful chemistry adds a fresh layer to the throwback moment.

“When Marcia Brady is in your shoot, we knew there was only one thing to do,” the brand captioned the video. “We loved our @jpress x @alexmillny bunch 🤭.”

McCormick later shared the video to her Instagram account and added, “How fun it was for my husband and me to be in this photo shoot and hang out with the loveliest bunch of people!”

The campaign also included a photo of the couple posing together, with a cheeky caption referencing one of the show’s most famous lines: “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!!!!”

The post quickly resonated with fans, many of whom grew up watching McCormick as the ever-popular Marcia Brady.

Fans Love the Fun Video

The recreation comes shortly after the couple celebrated 41 years of marriage, adding an extra layer of meaning to the collaboration.

For longtime fans, seeing McCormick revisit her roots — now alongside her real-life partner — feels like a full-circle moment.

And fans quickly expressed their happiness in the comments.

“Omg-love this so much! You guys are the cutest!!” one user wrote.

Another added, “Love seeing you both in this. How fun.”

Others just expressed their excitement over the campaign with heart emojis.

Fans Can Soon Tour ‘The Brady Bunch’ House

The nostalgia doesn’t stop there.

The legacy of “The Brady Bunch” continues to live on in new ways, including an upcoming opportunity for fans to step inside the show’s famous home.

Purchased in 2023, the iconic house will soon open for limited tours, giving visitors a chance to explore the spaces that defined the series.

“This home has always represented something bigger than just a television set—it’s a place that holds decades of memories for so many people,” said homeowner Tina Trahan in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.

Beginning in May, the experience will allow guests to walk through recreated rooms, snap photos, and relive classic moments
