It has been an incredible year for Robert Irwin! He was crowned the latest Mirrorball champion after winning “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34. He landed a role in Disney’s “Zootopia 2,” and he continues to do incredible work as a wildlife conservationist. And he achieved all of this before his 22nd birthday, which he celebrated on Monday, December 1.
Robert Irwin Turns 22!
The public loves Irwin and his family, and he won over even more fans during his time on the ABC dance competition, where he competed alongside professional dance partner Witney Carson. It was not just his dancing that impressed audiences, but his energy and zest for life. There is no denying Irwin is loved by many, but no one loves him more than his mom, Terri Irwin.
Terri celebrated her youngest child’s birthday with a sweet Instagram tribute. The photos show Robert throughout the years, from a tiny baby to an adult. While most mothers and fathers may share a collection of pictures of their child holding their favorite toy or doing something cute or silly, Robert’s pictures all feature an albino Burmese python. Why? Because Robert did not have a typical childhood and grew up at the Australia Zoo, and what he has experienced is spectacular!
Fans React to Terri Irwin’s Birthday Tribute
Terri shared her thoughts in the caption, posting a loving message for Robert. “Happy 22nd birthday @robertirwinphotography! Looking forward to your next year of adventures. Remember to hold on to your friends, and they’ll hold on right back! Love you!” she wrote.
Fans flooded the comment section with their thoughts. While some people were freaked out about baby Robert being next to a python, others understood that, because this is the Irwin family, they don’t have to follow the same rules when it comes to animals and reptiles. “Ok… with the same snake this is a pretty cool collection of photos,” a comment reads. “My initial thought was you’re putting a baby near a snake and then saw your last name,” another fan shared.
A third comment reads, “The Irwin family’s idea of a height chart Happy birthday champion!!“
Other reactions include, “Am I the only one that kinda wishes Robert would bring back the bowl cut from pics 3-4,” “Omg these are wonderful!! Happy Birthday Robert,” and “Birthday Robert! You are such a blessing to the earth and her inhabitants.”
Happy Birthday, Robert!
