“Dancing with the Stars” Week 4 was Disney Night, and the celebrity contestants and their professional dance partners delivered some exceptional performances. The outfits on the night were next level, as was the energy! After the votes, it was a shock elimination for Hilaria Baldwin and partner Gleb Savchenko, who performed a fun Quickstep routine to “Cantina Band” from “Star Wars: A New Hope.”
However, the good news for fans rooting for Robert Irwin and his professional partner, Witney Carson, is that they are around for another week, and fans cannot wait to see what they bring to the dance competition in Week 5. But before we get there, Irwin had a message for all of his supporters.
Robert Irwin Shares a Message for Fans
Irwin posted a short video clip on Instagram on Tuesday night, October 7. In the caption, he shared his thoughts. “What a wonderful audience we had tonight! Witney and I loved saying hi to everyone before the show started. We are so honoured to dance for you all every week,” he wrote about the crowd waiting to watch them perform on Show Day. “America – Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for having us another week on @dancingwiththestars!”
Fans flooded the post with messages of love and support. The comments indicate that many people are rooting for Irwin, and he is undoubtedly in the running for the Mirrorball Trophy. “Keep bringing the energy every week!! i love watching you,” a comment reads. “YOU DID AMAZING TONIGHT! CAN’T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK!!” another fan shared.
“Good to do this for people waiting around. Such energy!,” a third fan wrote.
Other reactions include, “Your such a kind sweet down to earth person. Love watching you dance every week you make each dance look incredible your doing amazing,” and “You did amazing Robert.”
Robert Irwin & Witney Carson on Disney Night
For Disney Night, Irwin performed a Cha Cha to “Try Everything” from “Zootopia.” This was a meaningful choice for the wildlife conservationist, as he works at Australia Zoo, and it is also his favorite film. He revealed this information in a Q&A session shared on Carson’s Instagram Story on October 6. Irwin admitted that “Zootopia” was his top Disney film, in addition to classics “The Lion King” and “Mulan.”
The pair scored 22 out of 30 from judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli. The score put them in the middle of the pack. But for fans, Irwin was top!
