It’s official. Jan Ravnik, one of the most popular dancers from Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, has officially joined “Dancing with the Stars” as a pro dancer.
ABC announced the addition to the DWTS cast live on “Good Morning America” on Aug. 28.
Following the live announcement, ABC shared a photo of Ravnik on the Dancing With the Stars Instagram page, captioned with, “Welcome our NEW PRO @janravnik to the #DWTS ballroom! 🤩”
Ravnik also recorded a video message to fans and said he was “very excited” to join the “Dancing With the Stars” family.
Ravnik will join DWTS for the show’s 34th season, which marks the celebrity dancing competition’s 20th year on the air. His celebrity partner has not yet been announced.
On the celebrity side, DWTS Season 34 will include Australian TV personality Robert Irwin, social media star Alix Earle, and “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt.
The full roster of DWTS Season 34 stars will be announced on Sept. 3 on “Good Morning America.”

He frequently posted about the tour on Instagram. In March 2023, he captioned an opening night photo of him dancing alongside Swift and wrote, “I’m beyond grateful to be part of @taylorswift Eras Tour 🙏🏼❤️ Still can’t put into words how I feel after yesterdays opening night! According to Us Weekly, while pursuing his dream of becoming a competitive dancer, Ravnik won multiple National, European, and World dance champion titles.

There Had Been Rumors About Jan Ravnik Joining DWTS
Diehard DWTS had some clues that Ravnik was possibly joining the show.
In August, he posted a video of himself dancing with longtime DWTS pro dancer Jenna Johnson, which sparked buzz among fans.
“Dancing With the Stars” insider Kristyn Burtt fueled fan rumors in a TikTok video, teasing a “new era” for the show after a follower asked if there would be any new pro dancers for Season 34. Burtt first confirmed that a new male dancer would join DWTS for Season 34, telling fans, ”The answer is yes, there is a new face on the male pro roster.”
“I will tell you that this person is not in the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ universe per se,“ she added. “I will say that they are high profile in the dance industry, and they are ‘Dancing With the Stars’ adjacent.”
After Burtt used the word “era” a second time, a follower commented that they would “love to see” Eras tour dancer Ravnik on the show after seeing his video with Johnson.
Burtt replied with, “We have a winner!!!”
“Dancing With the Stars” Season 34 premieres Sept. 16 on ABC.
