It has been almost a month since beloved “Grey’s Anatomy” actor Eric Dane passed away on February 19, after a battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Gayheart was joined by her teens on the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of “The Drama,” which stars Zendaya. Dane and Zendaya were co-stars on the hit series, “Euphoria.” Photos show Gayheart wearing a black midi dress with red and white stripes. Georgia wore a light pink mini dress, and Billie looked lovely in a white lace detail two-piece skirt and top.

All three accessorized with small handbags and simple, natural makeup. Billie and Georgia wore sandals, and their mom opted for pointy-toe pumps.

Dane’s children were his whole world. “I never had a family, and now I do,” Dane said in a December 2020 interview with People. “I know I’m a very lucky guy.” The actor sadly lost his own father when he was seven.

Billie was born in Los Angeles on March 3, 2010. There is a small age gap between her and her sister, Georgia, who was born on December 28, 2011. Before his passing, Dane spoke with Diane Sawyer for “Good Morning America” about his diagnosis and the anger he felt that ASL would take him away from his children early. He wanted to fight so he could be there with them and watch them grow older. “

I’m angry because my father was taken from me when I was young,” Dane said, People reports. “And now there’s a very good chance I’m going to be taken from my girls while they are very young.”

After Dane’s death, a GoFundMe page was set up to help support his children. The goal was set as $500,000; as of the time of publishing, $489,539 has been raised. “It is with profound sadness that we share the loss of Eric Dane after a hard-fought battle with ALS, leaving behind his devoted wife, Rebecca, and his two teenage daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world,” the fundraising page reads.

It continues, “Following his diagnosis, Eric became a passionate spokesperson for the ALS community, using his voice and platform to advocate for fellow patients and to push for greater awareness. Even as his own health declined, he remained deeply committed to helping others facing the same devastating disease. As his illness progressed far more quickly than anyone could have imagined, Eric’s friends have come together to create this GoFundMe to support his girls and their future needs.”
