“A Little Park Music” was filmed in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
Everett Andres’ official Instagram account noted the filming location, and added about his role: “It’s a nice supporting role and I finally get to use my classical piano training in a film!”
According to the Langford Community Association, much of the movie was filmed in Langford’s Veterans Memorial Park, including at the park’s beautiful gazebo.
Moviedelic noted that Kwao Thai Restaurant was another filming location.
According to another Facebook post by Vibrant Victoria, the movie was filmed in October.
John Cassini executive-produced this movie and wrote about it on Instagram. He wrote, in part: “A big shout-out to the incredible Victoria crew – now our ninth movie together. A special nod to our DP, Will Mcknight who shoots most, if not all, of these films with us in Victoria and continues to pull off miracles under courageous schedules, always with the most collaborative spirit.”
The Victoria Film Industry Facebook group also has a post about this movie, with one of the admins noting that they worked as a background costumer for the film.
Meet the Cast
Hallmark’s synopsis for the movie reads: “When a piano appears in the park gazebo, interfering with important work, city manager Allie joins forces with rookie cop Ryan to remove it, only to find both music and love are hard to resist.”
Laci J. Mailey is Allie. She’s perhaps best known among Hallmark viewers for her lead role in “Chesapeake Shores.” She’s been on many other TV and film productions too, like “Falling Skies,” “Romeo Section,” “Supernatural,” and more. Mailey also has an extensive list of theater credits to her name.
Beau Mirchoff is Ryan. He has an extensive list of credits to his name, like “Good Trouble,” “Narcos: Mexico,” “Now Apocalypse,” “I’m Dying Up Here,” “Awkward,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Heartland,” and more.
