‘A Make or Break Holiday’ Was Filmed in Canada in the Summer
“A Make or Break Holiday” was filmed in Canada, particularly in the Vancouver, British Columbia, region during a heat waved over the summer, according to cast and crew reports.
The Instagram account My Brown Bag Studio, posted on Instagram about the Vancouver filming during a heat wave, and how they were one of the vendors invited to set up a Christmas display for a market scene.
They wrote: “Remember back in July when My Brown Bag Studio was again given the fun opportunity to participate in the market scene of a Hallmark Christmas movie shoot? The scene was shot at Roundhouse Mews in Vancouver, and despite the heatwave we were experiencing, it was Christmastime and it was magical! Imagine if it really was snowing! I was unable to grab a shot of my display, but here’s a small peek at the setting. ‘A Make or Break Holiday’ airs on December 20 and if I’m (we’re) lucky, we’ll catch a glimpse of My Brown Bag Studio at some point.”
Vanessa Marano shared behind-the-scenes photos of the writing process for creating the movie.
Craig Geoghan also shared behind-the-scenes photos from Vancouver.
Meet the Cast
Hallmark’s synopsis reads: “Liv and Daniel are hosting their families for the first time this Christmas and stress is at an all-time high. When unspoken irritations within their relationship finally reach a boiling point, Liv and Daniel find themselves at odds and decide they need to take a break from each other. However, relaying this news to their families will most certainly ruin Christmas, so they decide to move forward with their original plans and will pretend to be a happy couple while everyone is under one roof. As they navigate the complexities of their respective families and work together to create a holiday celebration they’ll all remember, Liv and Daniel begin to rediscover what they love about each other and may not have to pretend much longer.”
