On the heels of Brooke Shields’ return to Hallmark’s “When Calls the Heart,” the entertainer has a new show on the horizon.
The first video sneak peek and photos for her new show, “You’re Killing Me,” have just emerged, and fans are eager to check it out.
Brooke Shields Stars in ‘You’re Killing Me’
On March 10, TV Insider shared a first look at Shields’ new series, which consists of six episodes. Shields is an executive producer on the series, which also stars Tom Cavanagh and Amalia Williamson.
Williamson has previously starred in shows such as “Sullivan’s Crossing” and “Letterkenny.”
Cavanagh is known by many for starring in “Ed,” and he also starred in “The Flash.” He does have a Hallmark tie, having starred in “Darrow & Darrow” movies with Kimberly Paisley-Williams.
AMC Networks teases that “You’re Killing Me” is “Set in a quaint New England town” and “The mystery follows bestselling novelist, ‘Allie,’ (Shields), who forms an unlikely alliance with an aspiring writer and podcaster ‘Andi’ (Williamson), to find the killer of a close friend.”
A previous press release from AMC Networks about “You’re Killing Me” described Andi as “a sassy Girl Wonder who was once an up-and-coming celebrity, until she lost it all.”
In addition, “Cavanagh stars as ‘Jack,’ the new lead detective of the local Police Department and former city slicker who is trying to acclimate to the quirks of small-town life.”
The new series was created by Robin Bernheim, who previously worked on Hallmark’s “When Calls the Heart” as well as “Mystery 101.”
