Hallmark’s “Haunted Harmony Mysteries” has become one of those mystery movie series that fans keep coming back to. And now that the fourth movie, “Prelude to a Wedding,” has arrived, there’s a lot to catch up on if you haven’t watched them all yet.
The series follows Gethsemane Brown (Tamera Mowry-Housley), a music teacher who has an unusual partner when it comes to solving murders: a ghost named Eamon McCarthy (Risteárd Cooper). Yep, solving a murder is already complicated enough, but doing it with a ghost certainly adds another layer to the investigation.
The rest of the cast includes Marco Grazzini as Griff, Adam Fergus as Inspector O’Reilly, and Julie Lamberton as Siobhan.
So far, Hallmark has released four movies in the series, with each one giving Gethsemane and Eamon another mystery to solve. And with Mowry-Housley now talking about what she would like to see happen in a potential fifth movie, fans have even more reason to hope the series continues.

“Murder in G Major” — September 2023
Gethsemane is a new teacher at an Irish prep school when she discovers that a ghost is haunting her house. Instead of simply trying to get rid of him, she decides to help solve his murder in the hopes that doing so will finally allow him to move on.
That ghost is Eamon, who becomes Gethsemane’s trusted partner as she tries to figure out exactly what happened to him.

“Buried at C” — October 2025
It took a little while for the series to return, but Gethsemane and Eamon did come back.
This time, the pair are trying to solve the unexplained death of a sea captain. The movie brings the familiar characters back together while giving them another mystery that requires some ghostly assistance.
Let’s be real, having a ghost as your investigative partner could come in handy when you’re trying to solve a murder involving another dead person.

“Key to the Castle” — May 2026
When a ghost hunter show comes to town, Gethsemane and Eamon once again find themselves investigating a murder. This time, the victim is the host of the show, who is unexpectedly killed.
As usual, solving the murder isn’t the only goal. Gethsemane and Eamon also need to help the new spirit cross over.

“Prelude to a Wedding” — September 2026
Gethsemane is invited to play at a wedding, but what should be a happy occasion quickly turns into another mystery when a member of the bridal party dies.
Naturally, Gethsemane and Eamon get involved, and fans get another mystery to follow as the series continues to develop its characters outside of the individual cases.

Will There Be a Fifth ‘Haunted Harmony Mysteries’ Movie?
As of now, Hallmark has not officially announced a fifth “Haunted Harmony Mysteries” movie. However, Mowry-Housley recently shared an idea for what she would love to see happen if the series gets another installment.
And honestly, it could make things very interesting for Gethsemane.
Speaking with Pop Culture Planet, Mowry-Housley suggested:
“Humor me this. I think in the beginning, and even she talks about it in the fourth installment, she says that she was engaged. So I think what would be really cool is, her ex comes back. And you see O’Reilly and Griff be like ‘uhhh, okay we’re not comfortable with just the two of us, but who is this?’ I think it’ll just shake things up and maybe be the catalyst for Gethsemane to make a freaking choice. I think she needs to make a freaking choice now. She needs to start dating, you know, like, one person.”
When Mowry-Housley was asked who she would cast as that person, she had a pretty specific choice in mind: Kristoffer Polaha.
“Well, I’m doing a Christmas movie with Kristoffer Polaha right now. I would love for him to make an appearance in the Gethsemane Brown series. ‘Cause wait ‘til you guys see our chemistry. It’s great, so, yeah.”
Yep, that would certainly be one way to shake up the series.
Fans Are Already Picking Sides
HallmarkWhen they shared the interview on social media, fans on both Instagram and Facebook had plenty of opinions about Mowry-Housley’s idea.
One fan made their choice very clear: “I’m Team Griff!!! 🙏🏽 There’s chemistry between them that I don’t feel with Gethsemane and O’Reilly. 💚💚💚”
Another fan was excited about the possibility of Polaha joining the series, commenting, “Seconding her potential casting choice! Looooove him!” Another person replied, “A king!!”
There were also fans cheering on the idea of Gethsemane finally making a choice, with one saying, “Yes!!! 🙌 time for a choice!!” Although that same fan did admit they were still, “team Griff 🙌”
Others simply shared their excitement about the possibility, while another fan said, “Love this series, the idea of adding an old beau into the mix would be awesome!🤣🤗❤️”
One fan even made their preference known with, “Love this series. I vote for detective!!!!!”
It seems like there is no shortage of opinions when it comes to Gethsemane’s love life, which could make a potential fifth movie especially fun.
Of course, fans shouldn’t get too far ahead of themselves just yet. There is no official fifth movie announcement (yet), but Mowry-Housley’s comments certainly give viewers something to think about. And if Hallmark does bring the series back, adding an ex, a new love interest, or simply continuing the Griff and O’Reilly situation could give Gethsemane plenty more to deal with.
For now, though, fans have four “Haunted Harmony Mysteries” movies to watch, and that is a pretty good place to start while waiting to see what could be next.
