When it came to the careers of Hallmark star Tamera Mowry-Housley and her sister, Tia Mowry, the two were pretty much inseparable much of their lives. Their careers took off when they starred in the 90s sitcom “Sister, Sister,” playing — sisters. They starred as sisters again in other projects, including the Disney film “Twitches” and its 2007 sequel.
But time flies, and somehow 18 years have passed since we last saw witches Alex Fielding and Cam Barnes. But Tamera would like to change that, and she even has an idea for what “Twitches 3” would look like.
Tamera Mowry-Housley’s Vision for ‘Twitches 3’ Includes Her Own Kids
“I want to do a ‘Twitches 3,'” Tamera told Entertainment Tonight. “My sister and I would definitely have kids. They would have the power, and then we would be like, ‘Oh no, please no. We don’t want them to go through what we went through.’ And then, obviously, something happens in the world and we’re like, ‘Oh wait, we’ve got to fight this evil.’ And then we will do the holding hands.”
Tamera closes her eyes, pretending she’s holding hands with her sister like they did in the first and second films. “I love you,” Tamera says, then she pretends to be her sister, saying it again before she bursts out laughing.
Tamera previously shared that her daughter, Ariah, is a fan of “Sister, Sister,” the series she starred on with her twin sister, Tia Mowry. The “Haunted Harmony: Buried at C” star has even posted videos of the mommy-daughter duo recreating scenes from the show. When it’s suggested by ET that Ariah could play her daughter in “Twitches 3,” Tamera lights up.
“And maybe Cairo will do it, too,” she said, referring to her son. “Disney Channel, let’s make it freaking happen. Let’s do it!” Tamera then does the “Twitches” “Lame Loser Whatever Moron” hand signal.
Tamera Mowry-Housley’s New Film, ‘Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Buried at C,’ is Streaming Now
While Tamera and Tia have played sisters in many films and television series, they have yet to co-star together in their Hallmark films and series. Tia starred in the 2018 Hallmark film, “A Gingerbread Romance.” Tamera signed an extensive deal with Hallmark’s parent company, Crown Media Family Network, after starring in 2019’s “A Christmas Miracle.”
On October 12, her fan-favorite film, “Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Murder in G Major,” returned with a sequel, “Buried at C.” Tamera plays Gethsemane, a music teacher who has a knack for solving mysteries with her ghostly friend, Eamon (Marco Grazzini). The movie is streaming now on Hallmark+.
