Beloved Hallmark Sisters Reunite With Sweet Selfie After Time Apart

Two fan favorite Hallmark stars, and real life twin sisters, have reunited after seemingly spending several months apart. “A Gingerbread Romance” star Tia Mowry, and her sister, “Haunted Harmony: Buried at C” star Tamera Mowry-Housley, were all smiles as they reunited and visited in New York City.

Tia Mowry & Tamera Mowry-Housley Shared a Sweet Selfie

On October 16, the sisters shared a selfie on Instagram. “Tia and Tamera take NYC,” the caption read. The snapshot was the first new photo the two had shared showing them together in quite some time.

In September 2024, Mowry made headlines after a comment about how she wished she and her sister were “still close.” As Us Weekly shared, she said in a teaser for her show, “Tia Mowry: My Next Act,” that “[I wish] I could pick up the phone and call her, but that’s just not where we are right now.”

She later said she had been referring to the physical distance between them, as they both focus on their kids and other commitments.

Mowry-Housley lives in Napa, California, with her husband, Adam Housley, and their two children, Aden and Ariah. Mowry lives in Los Angeles with her children with her ex-husband, Cory Hardrict. They have a son, Cree, and daughter, Cairo.

For months after Mowry’s comment about no longer being as close with her sister, neither entertainer shared much about the other on social media.

However, in July, Mowry-Housley wished her twin sister a happy birthday on Instagram as they both turned 47. In her caption, she wrote, “Here’s to us, to sisterhood, and spending our birthday today! Together.”

An additional Instagram post shared on July 7 showed the two together and celebrating. “47 came in with full hearts and full glasses. Thankful for Tia, family, and the kind of weekend that reminds you just how good life is,” Mowry-Housley wrote.

Hallmark Fans Were Thrilled to See the Sisters Together Again

Fans loved the new selfie that Mowry and Mowry-Housley both posted.

“For all the followers that try and separate you both! I’m glad you guys stand together. We love to see it,” one fan gushed.

“This picture just healed something in me I didn’t know needed healing,” another fan commented.

“So happy you two are working out your differences please be gentle with each other and know you both are loved,” read someone else’s comment.

“This made my millennial self so happy to see y’all together. I know you both were doing the solo things and being your own person. My heart was like awww Sister Sister,” wrote an additional supporter.
