Captioning a precious photo of their baby’s hand wrapped around mom and dad’s fingers, with the couple’s gold wedding rings in full view, Wallace wrote, “Mother. The newest part of me that became the best part of me the second we met. Motherhood has been the greatest joy of my life. Happy Mother’s Day 🩵”

McGarry, 40, and Wallace, 32, didn’t reveal their baby’s birthdate, gender, or name in their first post since becoming parents. Fans have eagerly awaited news since November, when they announced via social media that they were expecting their first child.
The new parents met on the set of “When Calls The Heart,” where McGarry has played leading man Nathan Grant since the show’s first season in 2014. Wallace joined the cast in season six as feisty character Fiona Miller, but hasn’t appeared on the show since 2025, due to her role on the Paramount+ series “Landman.”
GettyWallace gave fans rare peeks at her baby bump during her pregnancy, including appearing at the season two “Landman” premiere shortly after announcing she was pregnant. In early March, she was thecover girl of Cowgirl Magazine, which published a sweet photo shoot with the actress.
She and McGarry got engaged in December 2022, during a trip with their dear friends and fellow WCTH stars Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum, who are also expecting their first baby this spring. McGarry confirmed, in September 2024, that he and Wallace had married that summer.

It’s not clear when Wallace will have to return to work on season three of “Landman,” or if she already has. During The Hollywood Reporter’s Directors in Focus event on May 7, Collider reported that the show’s director, Stephen Kay, said production has already begun in Fort Worth and that they are “cutting while shooting,” so that the new season can “hopefully be out soon.”
McGarry, meanwhile, isn’t expected back on the “When Calls The Heart” set until mid-summer, when season 14 begins filming.
