Three months after Kayla Wallace debuted her baby bump and announced she was expecting her first baby with husband and fellow Hallmark star Kevin McGarry, the “When Calls The Heart” alum is celebrating her pregnancy in the March/April 2026 issue of Cowgirl magazine.
The new issue was unveiled on February 24, with Wallace featured in an extensive photo shoot, happily showing off her belly as she awaited the arrival of her little one.
Kayla Wallace Says Capturing Her Pregnancy for Photo Shoot Was ‘Special’
Wallace joined the cast of WCTH as feisty Fiona Miller during season six, but stepped back from the show in 2024 to focus on a new role, playing tenacious lawyer Rebecca Falcone on Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ drama “Landman.”
Born and raised in Vancouver, she has spent lots of time filming in Dallas/Fort Worth lately, which led to her Cowgirl Magazine cover. The outlet teased Wallace’s photo shoot and interview with a sneak peek video (above) on February 19, but the images taken by Hollywood photographer Jeff Berlin for the outlet can be seen here.
“It was so special to be able to show my baby bump during the photo shoot,” Wallace told the magazine. “It felt like such a beautiful moment to honor my growing family.”
Berlin shared a couple of Cowgirl Magazine’s posts about the shoot in his Instagram Stories, writing, “What a pleasure to @iamkaylawallace for the cover of @cowgirlmagazine. Much gratitude to all who collaborated.”
Fans swooned over the photo shoot, flooding the comment sections of each Cowgirl Magazine post with compliments, including one who wrote, “Obsessed with this cover” and another who gushed, “SHE IS GLOWING ✨💅”
Kayla Wallace & Her Baby Bump Made Their Red Carpet Debut in November 2025
GettyWallace and McGarry got engaged in December 2022 and in September 2024, McGarry confirmed that they’d gotten married. The two met on the set of WCTH, where McGarry plays leading man Nathan Grant.
The couple first announced their baby news via social media on November 11, 2025, posting a photo of McGarry cradling his wife’s baby bump in front of illuminated Christmas trees. Wallace captioned the post, “We can’t wait to meet you, baby♥️ Premiering 2026.”
They then attended the red carpet premiere of “Landman” season two, surprising many of her “Landman” co-stars who didn’t know yet that Wallace was expecting. She told Cowgirl Magazine of the event, “It was quite the reveal.”
The couple didn’t share their exact due date, but they’re one-third of a WCTH baby boom. In December, co-star Chris McNally revealed to fans that he and his longtime love, Hallmark star Julie Gonzalo, are due within six weeks of them, as are WCTH couple Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum.
