With a career that has touched so many viewers, fans have lovingly embraced Chabert as the “Queen of Hallmark,” a title she receives with quiet humility.

“It makes me feel shy right away,” she admitted. “Because I don’t view myself that way.”

Still, Chabert meets the recognition with deep gratitude, always turning the focus back to the people and purpose behind the work. “I just feel unbelievably grateful,” she said. “I feel so thankful that I have found such a home with Hallmark, because it just falls in line with what I value.”

For her, the title is not about status. It is a reflection of the connection she shares with audiences and the stories that continue to bring people together.

Chabert said she never imagined her first Hallmark film would grow into such a meaningful and lasting chapter in her life.

“This business has no guarantees, and I am blown away at what it’s all turned into,” she shared. “And I’m extremely thankful.”

Years later, she continues to return not just for the roles, but for the connection she feels to the stories and the audience who embraces them. “I think we continue to raise the bar, and our audience deserves it because they continue to tune in,” she said.

For Chabert, her bond with Hallmark goes far beyond the screen. It is deeply personal, shaped by memories that long predate her time with the network.

“I remember when I was younger than my daughter, my grandmother taking me to the Hallmark store and getting to pick out an ornament or a special card,” she recalled. “And it’s been a part of so many of my personal milestones in life.”

That sense of familiarity and warmth continues to guide her work today. With each project, Chabert aims to create something that feels comforting and meaningful.

“I feel responsibility to make the best product I possibly can, for our audience, because our viewers are so loyal,” she said.

Even when her films touch on more emotional themes, she remains focused on leaving viewers with a sense of hope. “It’s very important to me… that the end be uplifting and that the overall message of the show be one of goodness and of people coming together.”
