Lori Loughlin is turning the page and focusing on work after officially ending her marriage to Mossimo Giannulli.
“She is thrilled to be back working,” a source exclusively told Page Six. “She is back at Hallmark working happily.”
Loughlin, 62, filed for divorce from Giannulli, 63, on Sept. 4 after more than 28 years of marriage.
Loughlin Is Reportedly Thrilled to Be Working Again
While the filing came this month, the court documents list Aug. 31, 2025, as the date of separation. The former couple shares two adult daughters, Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26.
The documents cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. Still, reports have suggested the couple’s legal troubles surrounding the college admissions scandal placed significant strain on their marriage.
For Loughlin, however, the latest chapter appears to be about moving forward. The actress, who returned to social media last month after stepping away from Instagram in 2019, is also returning to some familiar Hallmark projects.
“She’s working again!” the source told Page Six. “She is returning to ‘When Calls the Heart’ and is taping episodes now. It will air early next year. She also has a ‘Garage Sale Mystery’ movie airing on Hallmark on Sept. 17 along with a holiday movie.”
The update marks a notable return to the kind of television work that helped make Loughlin a familiar face to audiences for decades. She is best known for playing Rebecca Donaldson-Katsopolis on “Full House,” a role she reprised for Netflix’s “Fuller House.”
Another source indicated that Loughlin is keeping the personal side of her divorce private as she navigates the change.
“She has been keeping everything with the divorce close to herself,” the second source shared with Page Six.
She Recently Returned to Instagram
Her return to Instagram also came with a nostalgic surprise. On Aug. 31, Loughlin posted a video reuniting several members of the “Full House” cast.
“Wake up, San Francisco! I’m back on IG 💕,” Loughlin wrote alongside the clip, which featured John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Scott Weinger, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber recreating the sitcom’s signature wake-up call.
Archival footage of the late Bob Saget was also included.
Coulier welcomed her return in the comments, writing, “Love this! And love you!❤️”
Isabella Rose also joined the fun, joking that her mother had not followed her back yet.
Loughlin deactivated her Instagram account in March 2019, shortly after federal prosecutors accused her and Giannulli of paying $500,000 to help their daughters gain admission to the University of Southern California as fake crew recruits. The couple pleaded guilty in 2020.
Loughlin is once again building momentum onscreen, with multiple projects ahead and a connection to fans who watched her career for years.
Now, with her divorce filing and return to work both behind her, Loughlin appears focused on what comes next.
Her Hallmark projects give her a chance to step back into a familiar professional world while keeping the details of her personal life largely private.
