Lori Loughlin’s Daughter Glows at ‘Frankenstein’ Premiere As Her Love Life Appears to Take A New Turn

Guillermo Del Toro’s “Frankenstein,” starring 28-year-old “Euphoria” actor Jacob Elordi, had its North American premiere on Monday, September 8, and fans noticed that a familiar face was by his side for support.

An X user who goes by the handle @trumanswhack posted a message that read, “Jacob Elordi brought Olivia Jade to the premiere,” referencing Lori Loughlin’s 25-year-old daughter. A few moments later, the user added another post showing a photo of the influencer at the event dressed in a billowing white ensemble and a pair of shades.

Olivia Jade’s attendance at the premiere was big news because it marked the first time she has been publicly spotted with Elordi since their reported breakup in early August. Read on for details of their relationship timeline.

Olivia Jade didn’t pose for photos on the red carpet with Elordi, but she was seen accompanying him. At one point, the actor held the train of her dress as they walked up a set of stairs.

A People Exclusive Reported Olivia Jade & Jacob Elordi Split in August

On August 7, 2025, People published a report saying the young stars had broken up after years of dating. Elordi and Olivia Jade were first seen publicly together having coffee in Los Angeles in 2021, according to the story. After that, the outlet says they received intel from sources that the two were “casual,” while other sources claimed the rumored relationship was official.

The story goes on to say the social media maven publicly split from Elordi for the first time in 2022, before they were spotted vacationing together in Italy the following year.

Meanwhile, US Weekly says Olivia Jade, who recently moved temporarily to Paris, has been enjoying a summer of “being free in the city” after things with Elordi became “rocky.”

Before dating Olivia Jade, Elordi was previously linked to Kaia Gerber, the daughter of Cindy Crawford, according to E! News.

Jacob Elordi Said Frankenstein Role Feels Like ‘Me’

In a Los Angeles Times interview about the film, which hits Netflix November 7, the Aussie said the character “feels more like me than I am.” He went on, “Hopefully those little bits from parts of myself that I don’t even know are in there.”

He also talked about how he approached the part, saying, “I didn’t want to have an idea for it, or put my mark on this thing. I kind of found out what it was as I was going through playing it.” He revealed he only had four weeks to prepare and familiarize himself with the script.

He also said he tried to be “as blank a canvas as possible.”

Judging by Del Toro’s comments during the interview, fans of the novel will probably be pleased. The director said the film’s final scene contains some departures, but stays true to the brilliance of the book.
