All About ‘A Boyfriend For Chirstmas’
The Hallmark movie, “A Boyfriend for Christmas,” was released in 2004, with Muldoon starring alongside Kelli Williams.
The movie begins with Holly, played by Williams, telling Santa Claus at the shopping mall that she wanted a boyfriend when she was 13 years old. It then fast-forwards 20 years, with Holly working as a social worker. Specifically, she is working a particular case where she’s trying to help a mother get her children back from foster care, but the woman’s lawyer, Ryan Hughes, does not show up for court. She sends him a very angry letter.
Then, on Christmas Day, Holly opens her door to find a man carrying a Christmas tree and uses him to keep her family off her back, pretending that he is her long-term boyfriend.
But something about this man, who introduced himself as Douglas Firwood, seems oddly familiar.
