Tamera Mowry-Housley Lets Surprise Update Slip While on Set of New Movie

While promoting her newest Hallmark mystery movie, actress Tamera Mowry-Housley spilled the news that she’s already at work on another!

During a live interview with “Good Day Sacramento” on October 9, 2025, Mowry-Housley appeared with her “Haunted Harmony Mysteries” co-star Marco Grazzini, revealing they’re currently in Ireland, filming the “fourth installment” of the franchise — even before the second and third movies have aired.

New ‘Haunted Harmony’ Movie Will Likely Join Other Hallmark Mysteries in 2026

Two years after “Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Murder in G Major” premiered, in September 2023, Mowry-Housley will star in Hallmark Channel’s follow-up on October 12.

She, Grazzini, and co-star Risteard Cooper returned to Ireland in early 2025 to film “Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Buried at C” and another still-untitled movie. According to Ireland’s Screen Crew and Services Database, they were scheduled to film for more than two months, from February 4 to April 11, in Dublin and in picturesque Wicklow, located about 30 miles south of the city.

Given that most Hallmark movies stick to a 15-day production schedule, the cast and crew were able to film two new movies based on Alexia Gordon’s Gethsemane Brown Mysteries five-book series. A release date for the third movie hasn’t been announced yet, so learning that a fourth movie is in the works will likely thrill sleuthers, especially after very few mystery releases in 2025.

With Countdown to Christmas beginning on October 17, it’s likely that the third and fourth “Haunted Harmony Mysteries” will not premiere until 2026. They’ll join two already-filmed “True Justice” movies starring Nikki DeLoach, Benjamin Ayres, and Kat Macnamara that were pushed to 2026, and Andrew Walker told EntertainmentNow that new “Curious Caterer” movies have also been delayed until next year.

Marco Grazzini Jokes That Tamera Mowry-Housley Has Her ‘Hands Full’ in New ‘Haunted Harmony” Movie

In the first “Haunted Harmony Mysteries,” we met main character Gethsemane, a former orchestra conductor living in Ireland to teach at a boarding school, St. Brendan’s, where she’s tasked with turning a motley group of students into an award-winning chorus.

However, when she keeps hearing the same four notes playing in the old Irish house where she’s staying, she discovers it’s the ghost of one of her music idols, a songwriter-musician, Eamon (played by Cooper), who perished years before in a mysterious murder-suicide.

Able to see his spirit, Gethsemane reluctantly starts working with him to try to solve the mystery and clear his name. She gets assistance from local Inspector O’Reilly, played by Adam Fergus, and her teaching colleague Griff (played by Hallmark fan favorite and “Virgin River” actor Grazzini.).

“If you watched the first film, you know that there’s gonna be a murder (in the second),” Mowry-Housley told “Good Day Sacramento” during their interview. “Gethsemane is going to try her best to solve it with her friendly ghost Eamon.”

But another ghost shows up on the scene in “Buried at C,” she said, “and there’s gonna be a love triangle,” in addition to a visit from Gethsemane’s brother. Grazzini joked to Mowry-Housley, “You’ve got your hands full!”

Mowry-Housley told “Good Day Sacramento” that she welcomed the chance to play Gethsemane because she’d been hoping to branch out from Christmas movies and add a bit more drama into the mix. “Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Buried at Sea” premieres on October 12 at 8 p.m. Eastern time and will be available to stream on Hallmark+ the next day.
