Hallmark fans of “The Way Home” have good news to celebrate. The network has just announced the “The Way Home” premiere date for season 4, and fans won’t have to wait very long.

According to Hallmark, season 4 of “The Way Home” premieres on Sunday, April 19 at 9 p.m. Eastern/8 p.m. Central. The episodes are also available the next day via the network’s streaming service, Hallmark+.

All of the key players from season 3 of “The Way Home” return for season 4. That includes Andie MacDowell, Chyler Leigh, Sadie Laflamme-Snow, Evan Williams, and Spencer MacPherson. Hallmark indicates that also returning for season 4 are Julia Tomasone, Jordan Doww, and Devin Cecchetto.

“New journeys and revelations await the Landry family across generations,” teases Hallmark.

“At the beginning of season four, Alice (Laflamme-Snow) is about to graduate high school, Kat (Leigh) and Elliot (Williams) dream of the next steps for their relationshipo while Del (MacDowell) realizes she will soon be an empty-nester again,” the synopsis for the upcoming season continues.

Despite the focus on the future, Hallmark teases, “the past is never gone.”

Several new faces pop up in season 4 of ‘The Way Home’ on Hallmark.

“The Way Home” viewers can look forward to new mysteries and new faces in season 4. The Landry family will be taken back to 1925 in the episodes ahead. A young Fern Landry played by Bianca Melchior will pop up, and Hallmark fans will see beloved actors Dan Jeannotte and Gabriel Hogan incorporated into the 1925 storyline, as well.

Jeannotte, who also stars in Hallmark’s “The Royal Nanny,” plays Temperance Inspector Cliff Kane. Hogan, who portrays Norman Rhodes in the “Hannah Swensen Mysteries” movies, plays Grayson Goodwin.

Another new addition to “The Way Home” is Bianca Melchior. Hallmark fans may not be familiar with Melchior yet, but she has appeared in projects such as “A Very Jonas Christmas Movie,” “Schmigadoon!,” and Disney’s “Zombies.”

New Mysteries Await the Landry Family

People shared some additional teasers about what fans can expect from season 4 of “The Way Home.” Executive producers Alexandra Clarke and Heather Conkie told People, “Season 4 of ‘The Way Home’ is all about new beginnings and uncertain futures.”

They continued, “On the cusp of Alice’s high school graduation, our three strong-willed Landry ladies face more independent next chapters…whether they’re ready or not.”

However, they add, “Lingering questions about the past still haunt them.”

In season 4 of “The Way Home,” viewers will see Alice make “a shocking new discovery.” As a result, the Landry family will find they “can’t ignore the call of the pond any longer.”

“Their leaps into the past will bring them back to reunite with familiar faces…but will also send them into a thrilling new era in Port Haven’s rich history: the Roaring Twenties!”

The family’s travel back to the 1920s will bring “a world of decadent deco glitz and dark dangerous shadows.” There will be a “very special member of the Landry family” who paves the way for “harrowing new adventures in their quest to seek answers to mysteries still unsolved,” teasers for season 4 reveal.

Season 4 has been announced as the final season for “The Way Home.” Viewers will see lots of “suspense, laughter, heart and heartbreak,” Hallmark hints. Answers to mysteries will emerge, but those answers bring “unexpected and life-changing costs.”

“It’s a season that will ultimately remind us all that there is no greater love, no greater gift, and no greater power than that of family.”

In November 2025, Hallmark revealed that the fourth season of “The Way Home” would be the last. As People noted, at the time, Senior Vice President of programming at Hallmark Media Samantha DiPippo told People, “The Landry family’s journey comes to a satisfying close [and]viewers will get the answers they’ve waited for.”
