Longtime Hallmark fan-favorite Will Kemp didn’t star in a 2025 Countdown to Christmas movie (we know, it’s a travesty!), but he’s still spreading Christmas cheer everywhere he goes.
EntertainmentNow caught up with the “Dancing Detective” at Christmas Con, where the British actor was as charming as ever, even sweeping Jane Seymour off her feet. He then spent a few days having fun with friends in New York City, including Victor Webster, before heading back home for the holidays.
Will Kemp Says the ‘Uglier the Better’ When It Comes to Christmas Sweaters
Kemp was adorably silly and sarcastic on the red carpet at Christmas Con, the largest fanfest for holiday rom-com lovers. But he shifted into genuine gratitude when he talked about getting to connect with fans and his fellow actors.
“It’s a great experience, I have a great time meeting everybody,” Kemp told EntertainmentNow. “And it’s so lovely to see people who have been here before. They come back and say hi to me!”
He also said he was looking forward to judging the event’s Ugly Sweater Contest, noting, “It’s gonna get ugly! The uglier the better!”
Will Kemp Shared Sweet Moments With Leading Ladies at Christmas Con
On December 18, the “A Not So Royal Christmas” star posted a video montage of his time at Christmas Con, including pics with fans, some of his fellow Hallmark hunks, and of t-shirts many fans brought or wore with Kemp’s face on them.
He included a pic of him with his “My Sweet Austrian Holiday” co-star Brittany Bristow and Seymour, a fellow British performer and one of the stars of “Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas.” The legendary actress shared her own post with pics of her and Kemp together, posing as if they were dancing a ballet — which they both have plenty of experience doing!
She wrote, “Once a dancer, always a dancer. 🩰 Sharing a fun moment with @iamwillkemp reminded me how movement has a way of connecting us without a single word. He spent years dancing Swan Lake on the West End before and brings that same grace to the screen! It all comes rushing back in moments like this. What is one thing that instantly lifts your spirits? ✨”
Kemp replied in her comment section, “So loved spending time with you! Looking forward to the next time. ❤️🙌”
Will Kemp Also Hung Out With Victor Webster in NYC
After Christmas Con, Kemp hung out with fellow Hallmark star Victor Webster, who was also one of the featured celebrities at the event. Webster shared snapshots of them hanging in New York City, and Kemp commented on his post, “Loved hanging out my friend! Until the next (time).”
In Kemp’s Instagram Stories, he shared a post from one of his fan pages that showed pics of him and Webster from their 2015 movie “The Scorpion King 4: Quest for Power.” Over the images, Kemp wrote, “My brother from another mother….”
Webster, meanwhile, shared a pic in his Stories of them in the audience at the Hayes Theater on Broadway to see “Marjorie Prime.” Captioning the photo, he wrote, “@iamwillkemp trying to show me some culture”
Kemp also shared a pic of himself in his Stories with “Single on the 25th” star Daniel Lissing, another Christmas Con attendee. Beneath their pic, he wrote, “Got to hang out with my mate @daniellissing too!”
