Bobby Berk’s show “Junk or Jackpot?” on HGTV certainly hit the lottery by making its way to #2 on the Top 10 Today list on Discovery+.
To celebrate, Berk took to his Instagram on Monday, Jan. 26, to express his excitement with a photo of his new show’s ranking and a caption that read, “Woke up to this! Can’t thank you all enough for watching @junkorjackpot. Love you all so very very much! Stream now on @hgtv @discoveryplus & @hbomax or @appletv internationally.”
Bobby Berk’s ‘Junk or Jackpot?’ Is a Complete Success
“Junk or Jackpot?” is currently in its first season after premiering on HGTV in December 2025. The show, which was created and executive produced by WWE star John Cena, will consist of six episodes.
The show follows Berk as he helps collectors sell their vintage items to generate revenue for their dream home repairs. “Follow collectors as they discover the true monetary value of the unusual collections that are overtaking their homes. With designer Bobby Berk, they must decide if they’re willing to sell some of their items to help pay for much-needed home renovations,” HGTV describes the show on their official website.
During each episode, Berk not only guides his clients into deciding what is worth selling, but he also lends an open ear to their stories that detail the memories behind their collections. Fans of the show have tuned into the host’s willingness to listen and made sure he knew of it in his Instagram comments.
“I’m loving this show and of course you’re amazing on it, you’re patient and kind with people who seem super stubborn but yet you reach them and of course the design is always [fire]. You’re an amazing human Bobby,” wrote one fan.
“Congratulations @bobby the show is funny and heartwarming,” added another.
Host of “Home Reimagined” Vern Yip also celebrated Berk in his comments by saying his work is well worth the high ranking.
“Completely deserved!!! Great designer/ host on a great show!” Yip exclaimed.
A Familiar Face
Before Berk began hosting “Junk or Jackpot?” he was an interior design expert on Netflix’s “Queer Eye” for eight seasons between 2014 and 2024.
After he left the show, he opened up to Vanity Fair in an interview about his shocking decision, saying it had a lot to do with his fallout with Tan France, fashion expert of “Queer Eye.”
“Tan and I had a moment. There was a situation — and that’s between Tan and I — and it has nothing to do with the show,” Berk revealed to the outlet. “It was something personal that had been brewing and nothing romantic, just to clarify that.”
Fortunately, his fans have followed him to HGTV, where they can enjoy “Junk or Jackpot?” on Fridays at 9:30 p.m. EST.

I love this show.
