Fans have missed Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson since HGTV canceled their show “Married to Real Estate” in 2025. Sherrod has been teasing their return to TV, and now there are finally details about not one, but two new shows featuring the couple.
Egypt Sherrod & Mike Jackson Return to TV in 2026
During an interview with USA Today published on April 20, 2026, Sherrod and Jackson revealed the names of the new shows and some small details, including when they will premiere.
According to the article, the couple is currently filming two shows: “Home Abroad with Egypt and Mike” and “Deserving Design.” Both shows are set for release this year.
“These shows reflect all the things that are important to us,” Sherrod explained.
She continued, “For those who have watched us for years, they know we believe in giving back and paying it forward. That is what we are passionate about.”
“At the core, these projects speak to our desire to help people, to build legacy and to use real estate and design to build impact,” the former HGTV star added.
The couple also discussed the impact of their TV show “Married to Real Estate.”
“We knew we had to bring it all together — love, marriage, real estate, renovation, design, TV, the business and family,” Sherrod explained. “And just show people that it can exist.”
She continued, “At the time, there wasn’t a true reflection of anyone doing what we were doing. You couldn’t see — on linear television — a Black family whose marriage was working for the length of time without all the reality drama tied to it.”
“You just don’t see those images of success,” she added. “That’s what gave us the courage.”
Fans Have Been Eagerly Awaiting Sherrod & Jackson’s Return to TV
Sherrod and Jackson’s fans always hit up the comments section of their social media posts to ask when they’ll be back on TV.
On April 13, Sherrod took to Instagram with a video showing her walking through doors that opened for her entrance. The camera followed her briefly before capturing a room set up for a celebration.
“Babies … God is opening doors for YOU that were ordained long before you ever arrived at them,” the former HGTV star wrote in the caption. “And the best part is they aren’t random opportunities … they are divine appointments.”
“‘What He opens, no one can shut, and what He shuts, no one can open’ (Revelation 3:7),'” she shared.
Sherrod continued, “That means no rejection, no delay, no person, and no opposition has the authority to cancel what God has already approved.”
“If a door is opening in your life right now, it’s not because of luck or timing … it’s because Heaven authorized it,” she added. “And so it is DONE. 🩷🩷🙌🏽”
