Iconic ’30 Rock’ Star Reveals Beloved Keepsake He Has Ahead of Show’s 20-Year Anniversary

Actor and comedian Jack McBrayer famously played Kenneth Parcell in every single episode of NBC’s brilliant satirical surrealist sitcom “30 Rock.”

McBrayer, 52, appeared in all 138 regular episodes of the series, over seven seasons, from 2006 until 2013. He then appeared in the reunion special in 2020.

He’s perhaps best known to current television audiences as the host of the HGTV series “Zillow Gone Wild.”

The star recently spoke exclusively to Parade to reveal which “30 Rock” relics he keeps at his house as cherished keepsakes to remind him of his time on the show.

Anyone familiar with “30 Rock” will recall that Jack McBrayer’s character, Kenneth Parcell, was a perpetually cheerful NBC page (someone on a paid fellowship at the NBCUniversal studio who contributes to various teams while working on business, consumer, and content assignments).

Speaking to Parade via Zoom, McBrayer revealed he has numerous keepsakes from his time playing Parcell — most pertinently, he has an NBC page uniform worn by his character.

McBrayer told the publication, “They did give me a page uniform after we wrapped. I haven’t worn it, because that’d be kind of weird…”

Interestingly, the star also revealed that, although he hasn’t donned the uniform since “30 Rock” ended, one of his famous friends has. The friend in question? Swedish Hollywood superstar Alexander Skarsgård.

McBrayer said, “We had to go to a Halloween party, and he did not have a costume. I said, ‘If you promise not to rip it, you can wear this.’ So Alexander Skarsgård went as Kenneth the page to a Halloween party a few years ago.”

He continued, “He’s like, twice as big as me. I was like, ‘Don’t rip it,'” before joking, “He’s such a good actor, he just made himself smaller.”

Noting that “30 Rock’s” 20th anniversary is fast approaching (the first episode aired on October 11, 2006), McBrayer then quipped, “Gonna have to squeeze into that page uniform one more time!”

During his chat with Parade, McBrayer also revealed that he’s in possession of some other keepsakes from the show. As well as a bunch of behind-the-scenes photographs, he has “a couple of Kenneth type things,” including some decor from Stone Mountain, Georgia, which was his character’s hometown.

As well as hosting the aforementioned reality series “Zillow Gone Wild,” Jack McBrayer has been extremely busy with other projects in recent years.

Per IMDb, his recent movie credits have included 2024’s animated sci-fi musical comedy “Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation” and comedy “Unfrosted,” and 2025’s rom-com “You’re Cordially Invited.”

On television, in the last couple of years, his credits include episodes of animated sitcom “The Great North,” comedy series “Stupid Pet Tricks,” medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy,” sketch comedy series “Studio C,” animated series “Chibiverse,” sci-fi action comedy series “Murderbot,” sitcom “Leanne,” and animated sitcom “King of the Hill.” Since 2021, he has also hosted the Apple TV+ comedy series “Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show,” which he co-created.

We wish Jack McBrayer all the best with his ongoing career. We’ll also look forward to potentially seeing him donning his NBC page uniform once more in a “30 Rock” 20th anniversary show of some kind.
