Jasmine Roth Shows Off Beautiful Before & After Photos of Her Biggest Project Yet

Jasmine Roth faced big challenges with her ambitious “treehouse” project. Still, the HGTV star said the demanding build was worth it, as she showed off the before and after photos of the gorgeous project.

Jasmine Roth Shared Before & After Photos of The Treehouse Project

On April 24, Roth took to Instagram to give fans a look at the challenging project she recently worked on.

“Let me bring you up to speed on what’s going on and why the house behind me is only half-finished,” she wrote.

Roth continued, “For those of you following along, I started a ground up new construction project in Park City, UT knowing it was going to be one of those projects that could make or break my career.”

She explained the reasons why, beginning with the scope of the project.

“This project is BIG, not necessarily from a square footage standpoint, but definitely from a technicality and difficulty standpoint,” she explained.

“The home is cut into a mountain and we’re maxed out on all building codes to get the most from our lot,” Roth noted. “Which means that even 1 inch off and the whole project won’t pass for final certificate of occupancy.”

The HGTV star shared, “A big part of my business model is over-delivering and I want to make sure that not only am I really proud of the finished product, but that it works for everyone involved.”

“It’s a lot of pressure!” she admitted.

Roth also touched on personal challenges, sharing, “Having a baby when trying to finish a multi-year project makes it really tough. Not just physically, but the emotional and mental strain of postpartum is already a lot, without adding a massive new construction build on top of it.”

The HGTV star took a healthy approach to balancing it all. “I’m trying to remind myself that each day is a step closer and to give myself grace, but it sure is hard when I just want to get it all done at my usual pace,” she shared.

Later in the day, Roth took to Instagram to share the after photos of all of her hard work.

“And just like that — it’s done! This Nordic Chalet-inspired Treehouse (that ended with an off-market sale) was one of the most rewarding projects,” she explained.

Roth added, “With no detail overlooked, a winter for the books, and a truly stunning (yet challenging) location, this is such a special one-of-a kind mountain home. 🏔️What do you think, how did it turn out?”

Jasmine Roth Learned Some New Things

In her earlier post, Roth shared glimpses of the home, pointing out how she tried “new things,” including “integrated handles on the cabinets.”

“I love seeing how far I can push my trades, but honestly it doesn’t always work out,” she admitted. “Not every idea I have lands and it’s figuring out how to pivot that makes or breaks the workflow.”

Roth shared that she learned “so many new things on the project,” including using heating elements under the floor rather than forced air heating. “Radiant floor heat is new to me and I love learning how to build in the mountains,” she explained.

Roth continued, “This project has been larger than life for me, but also such a great opportunity to challenge my creative side. Every layer that goes in is meticulously planned and one step closer to being done.”

She noted, “Never in a million years did I imagine being in charge of projects this big and actually loving it. Even on the hard days — I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”

Her fans lit up the comments section with words of support and praise, including, “This house is amazing,” “Congratulations! Stunning!” and “I love it. Absolutely gorgeous.”
