Curry, the British actor whose performance as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” became a defining piece of pop culture, died at his Toluca Lake residence on Tuesday, August 25. He was 80.
His longtime manager and friend, Marcia Hurwitz, confirmed his passing to The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, August 26, saying the actor died peacefully at home.

Fire officials did not identify the patient but confirmed that the response occurred at Curry’s address. TMZ also reported that police responded to a death investigation at his home.
