Cardi B is opening up about a deeply personal decision for her health.
In a new interview on TODAY with Jenna and Sheinelle, the rapper shared an update on her ongoing journey to remove butt injections.
Cardi B Changed Her Mind About Removing Her Butt Injections
During Cardi B’s appearance on “TODAY,” co-host Sheinelle Jones asked the rapper about her plans for another procedure.
“You’ve also been very honest about the fact that you were saying you might wanna go to Colombia, take some time after the tour to do a procedure,” Jones said.
“Oh yeah, yeah, I was saying that, but I’m not gonna do it,” Cardi B replied.
Cardi’s plans were to remove more of her butt injections. She previously discussed that on the “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” radio show. “But I don’t have time for that,” she shared with Jones and Jenna Bush Hager.
In addition to that, Cardi shared how she loves her body currently.
“You know what? I feel really comfortable, like, where I’m at right now, with my body and everything,” the mom of four stated.
“I do have a whole bunch of cellulite because I don’t know if it’s the age or I don’t know if it’s the fact that I got like four kids,” the rapper admitted. “I don’t know what it is, but it’s like, I feel really good.”
Cardi B Previously Revealed That Her Removal Process Takes Time
GettyCardi B had discussed with “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” in February 2026 that she would remove more of her butt injections.
“After this tour, I’m taking some out,” she shared. “After this tour, I don’t wanna hear nobody for three months. I’m going to Colombia. Nobody hit me up, nothing.”
However, as alluded to with Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones on “TODAY,” the removal procedure takes time.
“I got some more butt injections removed because you know it takes rounds to get your butt injections removed,” the 33-year-old said on Instagram Live (per E! News). “And I also went to fix certain things with my fibrosis.”
The “Bodak Yellow” artist also shared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in September 2025 how in-depth the process was.
“I already did a reduction,” Cardi shared. “For me to reduce my butt, I literally have to sit on a table, get cut from the bottom, get cut from the top, and be on bed rest for like three months.”
It’s understandable why the mom of four wouldn’t want to go through that again.
