Jamie Foxx and his girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp are expecting!
Foxx and Huckstepp, who have been linked together for about four years, are pregnant with their first child together, TMZ reported on Tuesday, May 12.
The couple’s due date is TBA, as well as the baby’s gender; however, TMZ reported that Huckstepp has been pregnant for several months.
Foxx and Huckstepp were first publicly linked together in August 2022 when Huckstepp attended the world premiere of Foxx’s action-comedy film “Day Shift,” held at the Regal Cinemas LA Live Stadium 14 in Los Angeles, California. Huckstepp was photographed on the red carpet, where she wore a long-sleeved, sequined crop top and black pants.
Jamie Foxx & Alyce Huckstepp’s Dating History
In April 2023, Foxx suffered a stroke, which in turn, caused a brain bleed, according to PEOPLE. Huckstepp was reportedly a significant part in the actor’s recovery.
That same year, as Foxx made his way back into the public eye, he and Huckstepp were seen vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in September, Page Six reported.
In October 2024, Foxx taped his Netflix comedy special “Jamie Foxx: What Happened Was…,” where Huckstepp joined him to show her support for her apparent partner.
An insider told PEOPLE that same year, about two years after their romance allegedly took off, that Foxx and Huckstepp were serious about each other.
“[Alyce] couldn’t be nicer or more perfect for him,” a source told PEOPLE. “[She] is a sweetie, a great girl.”
Although the couple reportedly ended their relationship in January 2025, with multiple sources confirming their split to PEOPLE, the pair seemingly found their way back to one another — and are now expecting their first baby together.
While Huckstepp is pregnant with her first child, Foxx has two children from previous relationships. In 1994, he welcomed his first child, Corinne, with ex Connie Kline, PEOPLE reported. In 2008, Foxx and his ex Kristin Grannis welcomed their daughter, Anelise Bishop.
Jamie Foxx’s Views on Marriage
Foxx has never been married; however, he opened up in his 2021 memoir, “Act Like You Got Some Sense: And Other Things My Daughters Taught Me,” about his views on marriage, where he shared that he didn’t think he was the “marrying type.”
“I’ve just never been convinced that marriage was a good idea for me. I’ve had friends that have great marriages, others not so much. And it never seemed like marriage was necessary to raise my children in a safe and loving atmosphere,” the actor wrote.
