With “Office Romance” set to release in just a few days, Jennifer Lopez has been hyping the upcoming romance film in numerous interview appearances. Lopez, who stars in the film alongside Brett Goldstein, plays a powerhouse CEO who falls into a forbidden romance with a newly appointed lawyer.
“Office Romance” will release via Netflix on June 8. However, spicy romance is strictly for the big screen, according to Lopez, who recently confirmed her dating status in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel. The singer and actress responded boldly to questions about her own romantic interests, shutting Kimmel down with a confident response that, “I’m not doing anything to ruin how I feel right now.”
Jennifer Lopez Is Proudly Single Following Divorce
Lopez has had an exciting history of romance throughout her career. She has been married four times, most recently to Ben Affleck. She and Affleck parted ways in 2024, finalizing their divorce in 2025. Lopez has stated she is not looking to jump back into dating and is instead happy focusing on her children and career.
During the interview, Kimmel asked Lopez, “You’re single right now?” Lopez responded with an emphatic, “I am!” The crowd cheered before she added, “I should have done it sooner! I’ve been doing it all wrong. Trust me.”
Kimmel went on to ask Lopez if she would consider becoming the next “Bachelorette.” She responded firmly, “No. Are you crazy? I’m not doing anything to ruin how I feel right now. It’s fantastic. I love it.”
Jennifer Lopez Braces for the Graduation of Her Twins
GettyDuring the interview, Lopez opened up about how she’s been handling the upcoming high school graduations for her twin children, Max and Emme. The pair go to different schools, and plan to attend different colleges starting in the fall of 2026.
Lopez explained that the process of preparing for graduation has been emotional, admitting it took her two days to write messages in their yearbooks. She confirmed that she will likely cry at their graduations, but plans to help both of the twins move into their respective dorm rooms when the day arrives.
She did mention that they would “pack up their rooms,” but then added, “Then they’re going to realize that their dorms are too small, that they’re going to miss home, I hope, and want to come back real soon!”
Kimmel then asked Lopez if she had ever been to a Target or Costco. The “On The Floor” singer sheepishly admitted that she had been to a Costco once, but that she doesn’t shop much. She confirmed that her children would primarily be bringing items from home to their dorm rooms, rather than participating in a college dorm shopping trip.
While Lopez has been caught up in helping her children take their next steps into the world, she is excited for the debut of “Office Romance” on June 5. She explained that she and co-star Goldstein had an excellent time filming the movie, and is excited for fans to watch the story unfold. “Office Romance” won’t go live in theaters, but it will be available to stream via Netflix for subscribers.
