Justin Bieber Joins In on Basketball Game

Justin Bieber showcased his basketball abilities at a private event in Los Angeles on Thursday, participating in a spirited matchup while dressed in his team’s signature colors.

The 31-year-old pop star suited up for Team SKYLRK during a game at The League, a private basketball, futsal, and golf experience at SRGN Studios. His squad faced off against LRG, the team led by Master P’s son, Hercy Miller, according to TMZ.

Three-Point Shooting on Display

Bieber demonstrated his shooting range throughout the contest, thrilling spectators with deep three-point attempts. The Grammy winner kept the energy high despite his team’s 107-88 loss, according to the outlet.

The singer maintained an upbeat attitude during the game, engaging with teammates, opponents, and VIP guests with a smile on his face. Not every shot found its mark—at one point, Bieber pulled up from deep and accidentally hit the rafters with his attempt.

For the matchup, Bieber wore Team SKYLRK’s standard sky blue two-piece uniform consisting of a long tank top and knee-length shorts. He added a pop of color with pink, yellow, and blue Adidas trainers. His numerous tattoos were visible throughout the game as he continuously ran and dribbled up and down the court.

Before entering the venue, Bieber arrived in a chauffeured SUV, where a suited bodyguard helped navigate through fans and photographers. The singer wore layered gold chains around his neck and went shirtless under an oversized green hooded sweatshirt, according to the Daily Mail. He completed his pre-game look with baggy black drawstring pants and pink slide sandals from his streetwear brand SKYLRK, which launched earlier this year.

Bieber’s wife, Hailey, was not present at Thursday’s game. The couple shares a 13-month-old son named Jack Blues.

Regular Attendee at The League

This appearance marked another in a series of recent visits to The League events for Bieber. He previously attended a game just days earlier on October 7, according to the Daily Mail.

The League hosted a “Bieber takeover” in September where the singer suited up and played alongside other participants, per the outlet. He also displayed his futsal skills on October 8, demonstrating his focus on cardiovascular fitness ahead of his Coachella 2026 headlining performance, according to TMZ.

Basketball has become a regular activity for Bieber in recent weeks. He previously competed against his former team, Nahmias, earlier in the month, generating excitement from spectators whenever he handled the ball.

The singer recently secured a record-breaking deal to headline Coachella 2026, earning more than $10 million for the two-weekend performance. This makes him the highest-paid performer in the festival’s history, surpassing previous headliners including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, and The Weeknd.

Unlike most headliners who work through agencies, Bieber negotiated directly with Goldenvoice, the festival’s promoter. “It’s a groundbreaking move for a headliner, and it’s something he built entirely on his own,” a source told Rolling Stone.

Tickets for both weekends of the 2026 festival sold out almost immediately after going on sale.

Sources close to Bieber indicate he’s planning an exceptional performance. “His 2026 Coachella performance won’t just be a headlining set, but a once-in-a-generation spectacle from a once-in-a-generation pop icon,” the source added.
