La Toya Jackson knows how to chef it up!
La Toya shared a glimpse into her life at home by sharing a video of herself cooking for her brother Jermaine Jackson, 71, after he requested she make her special enchiladas — a recipe she said her older brother has loved for decades.
The adored Jackson sister shared the sweet family moment on her Instagram on Wednesday, April 28, captioning the clip, “Jermaine requested enchiladas, his favorite so I made them!”
While La Toya held it down in the kitchen, her brother stood by her side with a watchful eye to ensure the enchiladas were made to his liking. As La Toya rolled each one by hand, Jermaine indulged in a quick taste test.

“We’re making enchiladas,” La Toya said as she stood by the oven with her. “Jermaine requested enchiladas… These are called La Toya’s enchiladas — they are the absolute best.”
As Jermaine patiently waited, the Jackson 5 artist quickly added more sauce before putting them in the oven. When Jermaine was finally able to taste the special dish, he couldn’t help but playfully tease his sister about the enchiladas needing “more sauce on the inside.” Rest assured, the “Night Time Lover” singer gave La Toya his stamp of approval, telling her they tasted “excellent.”
Loved ones of the Jackson family joined La Toya and Jermaine as they enjoyed their meal together. While seated at the kitchen table, a voice in the background could be heard saying, “You know it’s her recipe!”
La Toya looked gorgeous as she whipped up one of her family’s favorite dishes. The 69-year-old wore a grayish-blue tracksuit with a vibrant red-colored beret.
Jermaine looked handsome in his casual wear, sporting black pants, a white T-shirt and a chic black scarf.
Jackson Fans Adore La Toya & Jermaine Jackson’s Family Moment
GettyFans of the Jackson pair couldn’t resist asking for La Toya’s family recipe in the comments of the video. Many fans also complimented their loving brother-sister dynamic.
“Literally could watch them all day!! They look so good! 🖤🖤🖤,” wrote one.
“Ok don’t tease us. We need the recipe. 😋,” said another.
“I love seeing their regular people family dynamic. People forget that they actually are family and not a reality TV show or internet family, that they grew up under the same roof and have the same parents. The Jackson Dynasty, royalty, forever! ❤️,” exclaimed a third.
La Toya and Jermaine’s shared moment comes at the heels of the official theater release of the Michael Jackson biopic, “Michael,” on April 26.
While walking the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, on April 20, La Toya opened up in an interview with ExtraTV about how incredible it was to witness her childhood in the form of a motion picture.
“Seeing the story of your family in the beginning and my father, just making sure he instilled certain work ethics in them and making sure they did everything perfectly,” she explained. “And when you recall those days, it becomes emotional. And that’s basically what happened.”
