It seems like the R&B music gods finally said, “Alright, it’s time.” For the first time ever, New Edition, Boyz II Men, and Toni Braxton are joining forces for The New Edition Way Tour… and yep, tickets are officially on sale today. The tour kicks off in January 2026 and runs through April, marking one of the biggest R&B lineups to hit the road in years.
Fans got the surprise straight from Good Morning America when all three acts sat down to talk about what brought them together, why this moment feels like it’s been waiting forever, and gave an amazing medley performance (seen below) unlike any other.

“This Is Actually Long Overdue”
Ronnie DeVoe of New Edition couldn’t have said it better:
“This is actually long overdue. We’ve been talking about touring together, specifically with the guys, Boyz II Men, ever since we started the East Coast Family together back then. The middle ’90s, but because of all of our crazy schedules, we were all, of course, individuals: Ralph with ‘Sensitivity,’ Johnny with ‘My, My, My,’ Bobby with ‘Prerogative,’ Bell Biv DeVoe was rockin’ ‘Poison,’ Toni was ‘The Reindeer.’ Exactly, so it’s really all about God’s timing, and the timing is now.”
Honestly, that’s what makes this tour hit so different. Decades of hits, memories, and near misses finally leading to this one full-circle moment. It feels like history finally decided to give fans the collab people have been manifesting since the “Soul Train” days.
Toni Braxton gave that same energy, calling the partnership family. “It feels good, I feel like I’m with family… we have an energy that I’ve never had before, when you meet someone and you know at hello, that this was supposed to happen.” (ABC News/GMA)
CanvaLet’s get real; Toni, Boyz II Men, and New Edition all built the soundtrack to a generation. The thought of hearing “End of the Road,” “Can You Stand the Rain,” and “Un-Break My Heart” live, all in one night? Yeah, chills.
“People Want to Remember” and They Will
Boyz II Men’s Wanya Morris perfectly captured the vibe in the same GMA interview saying, “We are a nostalgia-based conglomerate. And under the circumstances, nostalgia is what you’re going to get. People want to remember. So we’re going to do everything that we can to make people remember and fall in love all over again.”
He’s not wrong. It seems like this tour isn’t just about reliving the past; it’s about celebrating the legacy of R&B with the artists who helped define it. Wanya even promised, “This is going to be a show like no other. It’s never been done by us before, and we’re going to show them that it’s possible — and we’re going to have a wonderful time doing it.”
