No Doubt Rockstar Reveals Parkinson’s Disease Diagnosis

As Michael J. Fox and Ed Begley Jr. both face Parkinson’s disease, a musician from a super-popular band has revealed that they’re dealing with the same serious health issue. No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont has just opened up to fans about the fact that he’s been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

“Dumont, 58, … shared a heartfelt social media message Saturday, expressing gratitude for the life he’s had while giving a health update ahead of the band’s May 2026 Las Vegas residency at the Sphere,” according to Parade.

Dumont Says ‘It’s Been a Struggle,’ But He’s ‘Doing Well’

Dumont took to Instagram on Saturday, April 11, to share a video of himself discussing his health. In the caption, he wrote, “Sharing a personal update. I’m doing well, many thanks for your support.”

In the video, he sat in front of a camera and talked directly to his fans, saying, “A number of years ago I was experiencing a number of symptoms. I went to my doctor, I went to a neurologist and I did a whole bunch of tests and I was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s disease.”

“It’s been a struggle,” he continued. “It’s a struggle every day, and I’ll make another video with what Parkinson’s entails.”

“The good news is I can still play music, I can still play guitar,” he added. “I’ve been doing really well.”
