Kanye West (now going by Ye) and his daughter North West surprised and thrilled their fans by taking the stage together for a surprise performance in Mexico City on January 30, 2026. The father-daughter duo recently collaborated on a song which has not yet been released, and Page Six says they performed it at the show.
North was dressed in the signature style she has been rocking recently, wearing long blue hair and a baggy black outfit. Ye wore a slouchy white outfit with dark boots.
The music page Records reported that there was a crowd of 40,000 fans at the show.
Fans fawned over North’s performance, with one commenting, “She’s so confident & so cool!!! She’s who I expected her to be.” Another fan chimed in, “North is the best and she is legitimately talented.”
Billboard pointed out the show marked Kanye’s first time to perform in Mexico in almost two decades, the last one taking place in 2008. As well as joining North’s performance of her new song, “Piercing On My Hand,” Kanye also sang his emotional 2014 hit “Only One.” The outlet says Ye appeared to have high energy, but didn’t speak much to the crowd.

Back on February 7, 2024, Ye dropped the video for his song “Talking,” on which he collaborated with rappers YS and Ty Dolla Sign. North was featured on the song and also credited as the director of the video.
North’s unforgettable verse, which subsequently blew up on social media, contained the lyrics, “It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie. Don’t tryna test me, It’s gonna get messy, It’s gonna get messy. Just bless me.”
