Offset Was Seen Taking a Smoke Break Outside of the Hospital
He was spotted wearing a hospital gown and non-slip socks, as he took a smoke break.
He also appeared to be hooked up to medical monitors.
Photos show Offset with a bandage on his arm, hospital wristbands, and wires attached to his fingertip.
His wheelchair carried an ICU tag, highlighting the seriousness of the situation, according to the outlet.
Offset’s team assured fans he is “stable and being closely monitored.”
The shooting occurred Monday following a dispute in the valet area of the casino, according to the Seminole Police Department.
TMZ first reported the incident, noting that the rapper, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was struck during the altercation.
Offset rose to fame as a member of Migos, the Atlanta-based trio known for its rapid-fire triplet flow that reshaped modern trap music.
Migos broke through with the 2013 hit “Versace” and later achieved multiplatinum success with singles including “Bad and Boujee,” “Stir Fry,” “Narcos,” and “T-Shirt.”
The group released four studio albums before the tragic killing of Takeoff, which effectively closed that chapter of their career.
In addition to Offset’s impressive career, he was married to fellow rapper Cardi B in September 2017 and share three children.
Cardi B announced in 2024 that she had filed for divorce. She has yet to make a statement.
Rapper Lil Tjay Was Arrested for Disorderly Conduct
In connection with the shooting, rapper Lil Tjay was arrested Monday night on a disorderly conduct charge and held at Broward County Jail with a $500 bond.
However, his attorney, Dawn M. Florio, denied any involvement in the incident.
“Lil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting. Any reporting to the contrary is false,” she stated on Instagram, calling speculation “baseless rumors” and encouraging the public to rely on verified news sources.
Fans have expressed concern for Offset’s well-being following the incident.
Despite the alarming circumstances, the rapper’s visible mobility and calm demeanor while outside the hospital provide some reassurance.
