SEE: Offset Looks Carefree In Photos Taken MOMENTS Before He Was Shot

Offset, the 34-year-old rapper known for making unforgettable hits with his former group, Migos, was seen smiling and looking carefree in photos taken at a Florida casino just moments before he was shot.

Along with his music, Offset is known for his long relationship with “Bodak Yellow” rapper Cardi B, with whom he shares three children. The pair got married in 2017 and split in 2023.

One of the photos, which were published by TMZ, shows the rapper posing with someone who seems to be a fan while happily throwing up a peace sign. The next pic shows him casually strolling through the building dressed in a yellow hat, a t-shirt, shorts, and slides.

The outlet says there were told by witnesses that Offset appeared to be in “great spirits” when he was spotted inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, located in Hollywood, Florida right before the incident.

The report goes on to quote witnesses as saying Offset “happily engaged” with fans who approached him as he was standing near an exit near the valet area.


Offset Shot in Florida: What We Know

TMZ reported the evening of Monday, April 6 that a rep for Offset confirmed he was shot, but said he is “fine” and “is currently at the hospital receiving medical care.”

“We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood,” the outlet says they were told in a statement by the Seminole County Police.

The report says the police rep went on to assure everyone that “the situation was contained quickly,” and two people have been detained. They added that while the investigation is ongoing, “the site is secure and there is no threat to the public.” Operations at the hotel will continue as normal.
